It's always such a relief when my trumpet pitcher comes back to life after it's winter dormancy.

And this year it's flowered, maybe as a thank you for being repotted.

I think this cockchafer must have hatched in the soil and climbed up...

I don't want to damage the cactus, but I don't like walking away from an unfortunate entrapment of a critter.
