minority w a dui

I’ve made a few posts about my dui but I wanted to make another one bc I keep trying to find people in a situation similar to mine but can’t.

I’m 22(f), black and have a dui. I have a lot of stuff that I want to do & accomplish, getting educated having a career all that stuff and idk just how much this will affect me. I’m alr at a disadvantage being black and a woman I feel like this gives people a reason to discredit everything else about me and anything I accomplish in the future. I’m deathly scared of my future. Times are hard, economy is sht, job market is terrible. I’ve been trying to be as optimistic as I can but I also want to be realistic. How fkd am I?

Anyone know how to navigate something like this?

I don't know what to do

I just recently got arrested for a dui end of July, a few weeks before my birthday. I am incredibly stressed out, but not as much as I was when everything first happened. I just turned 22 and have a long life ahead of me and I am sure this had added a lot more obstacles than I can imagine.

No accident or anything, cop pulled me over because I was speeding. The recorded bac is 0.083. I have familiarized myself with my state's laws and I cannot get it reduced or anything best I can do is diversion which would eventually lead to my charges being dismissed so hopefully that works out. Expungenment could be pursued 5 years after diversion, if possible, is finalized. I hired a lawyer and everything so in that regard, I am fine. I truly do not take this situation lightly and I am grateful that no one was harmed. It was an extremely irresponsible choice to make.

What I am extremely concerned about is school and my future career. I want to go into radiology tech for now, or maybe accounting, and I might want to go back to school later for professional school idk what yet might be law, dentistry or get a chemical engineering degree idk. My cc transcripts are messed up since I was on and off for 4 years, have retaken some classes, some over 3, and my gpa is a 1.89. I still plan to retake some more classes to fix it but it feels like I have royally fckd things up by getting the dui bc that's now two hardships to overcome yk? Feeling somewhat hopeless and idk if I should just hang up my school journey bc things are looking and feeling bleak. I do want to get an adhd assessment which I have suspected that I have since high school but I fear that I might not be assessed fairly because of my dui. I know they do not do background checks, but I do not want to lie because incase my alcohol stuff could help me be properly diagnosed.

I want to be financially stable and this definitely makes things harder and so incredibly stressful as I already did not know which direction I wanted to go career wise and also super stressed about student loans. Just stressed all around.

My loved ones have been super supportive. None of them have been through anything close to this so it is hard to share all of these grievances/ concerns.

I guess I am simply asking for realistic, maybe optimistic, advice and these things. Much appreciated if you've read this far :)
