We are booked to fly to New York in three weeks time. We booked to land there at 11:20am, meaning we’d get a full afternoon and evening that day. This morning, they have cancelled our flight and moved us to a flight that doesn’t land until 19:35. Over eight hours later, meaning we’d now miss that entire first day. When I called, they said that the available flight earlier that day is fully booked, even though it shows as available on the website, and that to move to the day before would be an extra £800 just to change the flight. The flights on the Thursday and Friday are exactly the same price, why can’t they move us for free seeing as they cancelled the flight? I understand that 8 hours isn’t that much on a two week holiday, but we’re only going Friday-Monday, meaning we’ve lost basically a quarter of our holiday. We booked a package, so everything was booked through them. Is there anything we can do in this situation? I am autistic and really don’t cope well with change, especially this close to the holiday.

My family and I are arriving on May 28th and would like to book breakfast at the regal view restaurant for May 29th. I know that bookings are available three days before, but I’m not sure what time? Also, would three days before the Friday be Tuesday or Wednesday? I’m not sure if the day of the booking is included in the three. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)
