Built a tool to make job applications a little less painful — looking for early feedback

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a side project called JobFit AI.

The idea is pretty simple: instead of sending the same resume to every job, the tool looks at the job description and helps you understand:

How well your resume matches the role
Which skills or requirements you’re missing
What parts of your resume should be improved
How to tailor your resume for that specific job

I’ve also built a Chrome extension so you can do this while browsing job listings instead of constantly switching between tabs.

It’s still early, and I’m evaluating whether this actually solves a problem people care about.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback — especially from people who apply to jobs regularly.

What would make a tool like this genuinely useful to you?

Which Resume Template Is Best?

Hi guys,

Hope you’re all doing well!

I have a question. I’ve been trying different resume templates for different job applications, including Jake’s Resume, the Stanford template, and a few others, but I haven’t been getting many responses.

So, I wanted to ask: Which resume template do you think is best for job applications?

Do you have any recommendations or templates that have worked well for you?
