Since there were some requests for a recent picture, here is one from earlier this month, a little dirty but she looks just fine to me!

46 years later and this lady still turns over with general ease. Maintenance, of course. Frustration in repairs, sure, once in a while. My mom bought this truck when she was 3 months pregnant with me, it's been in our family ever since.

This is a picture of me graduating high school in 1998 with the first vehicle I ever drove and what I took my driver's license test in. Around that time my father and I rebuilt the engine, and repainted her in our backyard. I have a lot of great memories with this truck. I plan on driving her, like a truck, for the rest of my life and leaving her to whichever of my kids helps me the most on the upkeep.

Highly recommend. The straight six has plenty of torque to do what a truck needs to do, and you don't have to worry about anyone zipping around town in it.
