Is this brake fluid leaking?

997.2 Turbo

Got home from a drive and noticed this green/yellow fluid all in the drivers side rear wheel. Is this road debris or something else?

The bleeder valves and CV boot seem okay.

The flat piece of debris on the ground in the 3rd picture was something caked on to the wheel barrel that I scraped it off. The reddish fluid on the ground is from me cleaning everything up with light soap and water.

It doesn’t seem like anything is actively leaking.

Is there something else I can check to confirm what’s going on here? Fingers crossed that I just picked up some weird road debris.

Anonymous to permanent accounts made for a good user experience

I am the developer of KartChef, an iPhone app that turns a shared recipe into a matched Kroger cart. Supabase is the whole backend: auth, Postgres, storage, edge functions.

The piece worth sharing is anonymous users upgrading to permanent ones. People can use the app before signing up, so their data starts under an anonymous user. Email signup upgrades that user in place, which is easy. Google and Apple sign-in create a brand new user, which is not, so those run through an edge function that re-parents the rows to the new id and then cleans up behind itself.

Receipt upload was the other one. Users can pin the brands they always buy, or skip that and upload photos of a few recent receipts so the app learns what they actually buy. Those land in a private bucket and get re-encoded server side, which strips EXIF and GPS before anything is stored.

Worth knowing if you are doing something similar: storage objects are not covered by the auth user cascade. Deleting a user does not delete their files. You have to handle that yourself.
