Has anyone taken the role at any campus on residents of the community assistant? I’m thinking of applying for it due to the benefits but not sure if it would be wise to balance between the course load and this work?
I’m looking to buy bedsheets for my upcoming semester at the NSCC COGS campus and they say that the beds are “extra large full”. What dimensions are these and would I be able to find sheets that fit?
I am currently logging into My NSCC portal under my finances to try and pay my first semester tuition but there is no outstanding payments. For my program starting in September the first term fee is due August 7th but when I enter the “make a payment” the “what I owe” is 0.
Is this correct? And do I have to calculate this myself
Hey guys I’m planning on buying an additional tire for my 2022 Toyota Corolla hatchback SE but I’m not quite sure where to put it. I’ve been told that it may be able to fit under the trunk covering but to me it wouldn’t seem to fit there if it is a full size tire. Do I have to get a dummy tire in order for it to fit ?
Let me know, I know this is different for the various years of Corolla hatchbacks as well.
I recently applied for a student loan along with the grant only option for school this year. I got a response today saying I got money for this coming semester, but am curious if they would show the loan vs the grant amount in separate sections.
It currently shows all the money I will be receiving as a cumulative amount, but doesn’t show the grant amount listed. Would they normally be separate sections?
I’ve always been super insecure about my small wrists and small hands. I pulled the trigger and bought the Garmin 265S (which is 42mm) but I still think it looks massive on my wrist. I am used to wearing small Casios but I feel like this looks odd. Should I downgrade to somthing smaller ? Let me know what you guys think
I’ve been looking into buying my first ever smartwatch, it will be a graduation gift following my undergrad ending this past semester. I will be working in the outdoor industry require both desk and field work outdoors. That being said a lot of my friends and colleagues have instinct watches due to its durability and overall look. This is what originally made me look to Garmin instead of apple for a smart watch. I like the minimal look of the instinct and how it is in greyscale but am worried it won’t have all the features I would like, mainly touchscreen and fitness. I am also quite active going to the gym and strength training , spin classes and recently running. It would be a great benefit to track my progress using a watch like this.
My main outcomes would be that it feels natural to wear all day without worry of damage in all climates and has all the features I want without looking bulky. I have 6in smaller wrists and normally wear a small Cassio so this will be a big change. Any information or advice on similar watches would also be very helpful!

I’m currently looking for a rain jacket for a trip to Iceland next month, somthing lightweight but still warm enough for the weather. My problem with men’s jackets is that I’m 5’4 and every jacket my size is way too long for my body. I’d like to find one that ends just at the hips not below the bum. Only jacket I have found that does this is a bomber style work jacket from Costco which I wear in the winter.
I plan to try and run some errands to find a well fitting rain jacket at MEC or similar but my search thus far hasn’t been going well. Some suggestion on brands or certain styles of jacket would be super helpful! My body measurements are 5’4 and 130lbs if that helps in any way. I’m typically a size medium and wear a 32x30 pant.
Hey guys so I will be going on vacation soon and had a small revision on my scars about 8 wks ago. For my original scars I kept them out of the sun 24/7 for 2 years as UV tends to pigment scars. That being said on my vacation I will be going to a spa where I’d like to be shirtless. I’m wondering if there are any proven 100% uv protective tapes that I could use over my small scars?? Or anything similar. If I don’t find anything I will probably just end up wearing a tank top but ideally not.
