First ever superfractor pull, and first 1/1 owned of any kind.
From a blaster box I ordered from dick’s sporting goods.
Talented All-American from a popular school, I will gladly take it!
Got my expected denial email at 5 PM saying that I was not selected. Tickets since 2006.
Was anyone here actually picked?
As they say in stock options and cards, first one is free.
Decided to order both Pelicans who made Rookie Team (Fears and Queen, a single card of each) on a whim for PC .
The base Fears arrived separately over a month ago,, this one was delayed but arrived today. Total print run was 1344 so I guess a decent percentage were numbered, but happy to get a low number and a bookend at that.
Did anyone else’s local channels suddenly switch to non-HD? The local ABC, NBC, and FOX channels suddenly switched to the above stretched blurry format. The CBS and PBS channels are still normal. What happened? It’s not the video settings, I will have to stream to watch NBA finals because it is unwatchable like this.
Edited to add, the channels are:
3 WLBT (Gray Media owned)
16 WAPT (Hearst owned)
40 WDBD (Gray Media)
None are sub-channels, all fine this morning and then switched to non-HD at some point today. If I switch to OTA antenna they are all fine.
12 WJTV (CBS) is still HD like normal on Directv.
Picked a up a Chrome box last week which was my first card purchase in over a decade. Didn’t get any decent hits, and couldn’t find any more Chrome retail, so decided to start going through my boxes of childhood cards in storage to sleeve any notable ones I can find.
Found a complete 1988 topps set (that I had zero memory of). These are just a few from that.
Not expecting anything really valuable , but it’s fun to go through the boxes and I’m not even a quarter of the way through them yet.
I see the Jackson one does fetch a good amount if it’s graded perfect, but surface doesn’t look as good as the others.
