both songs are around 160 bpm, 3 minutes long, and have the exact same chord progression in them. this proves even more that carti is the goat of music. idk how i haven’t seen anyone else point this out before.
i have a theory that these snippets are one song with a beat switch. they both mention “party upstairs” and we know ken likes to do a play on words in his verses by taking the hook’s main line and spinning it around a little. also in new age rockstar, i can hear something in the back that sounds very similar to party upstairs potential choir in the back. let me know your thoughts but i think this would be a really cool song with or without the beatswitch.
