How strict is DSCE regarding attendance? Is the 85% attendance rule actually enforced?

I got a COMEDK rank of 7559 and SJCE (JSS STU Mysore) is one of the colleges I'm seriously considering for CSE-related branches.
My priorities are:
- Good placements
- Strong coding culture
- Internship opportunities
- Good peer group
- College life and overall exposure
- Long-term ROI
I would really appreciate honest opinions from current students and recent graduates.
Some questions:
How are the placements currently for CSE/ISE/AIML students?
What is the realistic average package for students who are reasonably serious about coding and projects?
How does SJCE compare with DSCE, BIT Bangalore, BMSIT, NIE Mysore, and RNSIT?
How strong is the coding culture and competitive programming environment?
Do students get good internship opportunities, or is most of the effort off-campus?
How is the peer group? Are students generally placement-focused and motivated?
How strict is attendance and academic pressure?
How are the hostels, campus life, clubs, and extracurricular activities?
What are the biggest drawbacks of SJCE that most YouTube reviews don't mention?
If you had my rank today, would you choose SJCE again?
