The forbidden ramen lol

I just bought this beautiful Thai constellation at my local greenhouse. The trunk is currently growing sideways out of the pot. If I want to put it on a moss pole, how would I get it to grow upwards? Im also thinking about repotting it, but I don’t know if I should. How much space should the roots have in the soil? I love this plant SO much but I honestly have no idea what I’m doing lol.
Also I want to propagate it, but I’m a bit scared to because it was 70$, so any advice on how to go about that would be much appreciated!!
