Grandpas 84 GMC Sierra Classic

Grandpas 84 GMC Sierra Classic

I’m going to be trading my grandpa a new furnace & air conditioner for his 84 GMC Sierra Classic, it’s been sitting in the garage for 20 years, he said starts it once a week but is getting too old to mess with it. I’m going to be towing it to a shop once I’m done installing his equipment, what should I tell the mechanic what all needs to be done to a truck that’s been sitting for so long? It “runs and drives” but he doesn’t trust it making it home in one piece probably needs new tires and brakes inspected. If the truck truly runs & drives with just getting some maintenance done on it, how much do yall think it’s worth? I don’t plan on selling it but just curious. No rust, it’s lived in a garage its whole life.

2019 Chevy Silverado Intermittent No Oil Pressure

I have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Gas, with a 6.0L Vortec V8 engine, automatic transmission. Sometimes throughout the day when I start the truck my oil pressure gauge will read 0 and I get the alert no oil pressure in engine turn off engine. So then I turn it off and back on and it will correct it and I have oil pressure and then it will run and drive fine no issues or ticking. Late Saturday it appeared and I could not get it to reset after trying to turn off/on about 5 times. The last time I tried starting it, it did start ticking so I didn’t attempt anymore and had it towed to a shop. Well the shop never got the alert and tested oil pressure in all cylinders and said I’m good to go… I had just got an oil change probably 2-3 weeks ago, and they said it’s possible the other shop didn’t use the correct oil causing these issues? So they went ahead and changed the oil to rule that out. It doesn’t do this everyday, just very randomly, can’t say it if it does it more in the morning or later in the evening. This is my work truck so I use it everyday/all day. I do residential HVAC and can’t afford to have this truck down. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I’m assuming maybe something is getting stuck or failing as whenever the tow truck took it maybe it knocked something loose for it to start working again?

Glen Rose / Dino Valley State Park

Don’t know if I’ll get an answer but worth a shot…
When I was a kid my parents would take me to dinosaur valley state park for 4th of July, right outside the park there was a spot where all the locals would come and light their own fireworks off. I have a lot of fireworks that I need to shoot off that have been sitting in my garage, so I was thinking making the drive out there this weekend.
But everywhere I read online says fireworks are banned from glen rose just like it is in the city I live in… Any Glen Rose locals in here can confirm people still goto the spot every year?
