Pansy Division @ The Exchange, Bristol, Uk

Oh my god this show was just fantastic. I thought I'd never get to see these guys live over here, so I was ridiculously excited for it anyway but I still had my mind absolutely blown. They were playing the basement which is a tiny venue with a stage that's basically the same height as the crowd, and somehow this just made it even better?!

One thing that really blew me away though was seeing so many young folks there, talking to the band after about what songs they played to their parents to come out (hopefully not Cocksucking Club?!), or how important their music was to them realising they were queer. I honestly thought it would be a bunch of old people there like myself who remembered them from back in the day, but the fact they're still having such an impact on the kids is just the cherry on top of it all.

I walked around after getting a bible page that had been thrown into the audience signed like a teenager because I wasn't quite sure how else to channel my absolute love for these guys! I'm equally embarrassed and thrilled to have my ridiculous souvenir though.

So anyone on the fence about their other UK dates, go to see them!!

What else can/should I add to this routine?

I have a 3 day a week routine that's working well, but I feel like I'm neglecting some muscle groups and not doing quite enough to build visible muscle. I also miss deadlifts but I'm not sure how to add them in!

Does anyone have suggestions for what 1-2 extra workouts a week should or could look like to make sure I'm not missing anything?

Here's my workout (as an export from Liftosaur so apologies for any weird formatting):

Affordable packing underwear recommendations?

I'm hesitant to call myself trans so I hope it's OK to ask here, but I am gender fluid/gender queer and looking into packing, and figured this could be the best place to ask!

I've had a look at some other threads elsewhere but the recommendations tended to not be available in the UK or were really expensive. I have a packer and I'd originally thought I'd be able to wear it with the underwear I already have, but perhaps unsurprisingly, this is not working and I live in fear of accidentally losing it every time I run for the train in baggy trousers.

Are there any affordable options for packing underwear, or suggestions for what works well? I would love a kind of jockstrap option but anything under like, £30 would be great!

Has anyone figured out how to get Access to Work as a civil servant?

I'm sure the process is different for each department but whenever I've looked into Access to Work grants or funding for ADHD, all the guidance says you can't apply through the regular route if you're a civil servant. They say that instead you have to apply internally for equivalent funding schemes. Which sounds fine.

However across multiple departments I've never been able to find out what the process actually is! The intranets never have any information on it, and sometimes just link out to the official applications (which we can't use), and when I've contacted HR, they usually just redirect me to reasonable adjustments, workplace passports etc. What I want this for is to fund an ADHD coach though, so these don't really help me much.

Has anyone successfully navigated this or found out what kind of area or team tends to deal with these things, or what I need to be asking for? I appreciate there's going to be a lot of variance across departments but I felt like it was worth checking for a lead as I'm obviously getting it wrong!

Are any departments offering visa sponsorship anymore?

Apologies for any inaccurate language with this question, I'm not very au fait with visas and sponsorship but I've made it my mission to try to help a colleague escape a bad working environment in their current department so thought I'd try to ask the question here.

My colleague requires visa sponsorship and every role I've come across that they'd be suited to seems to now state it doesn't qualify or that the department doesn't have any opportunities for sponsorship left. They've said that since a recent change in the rules, this is now the case across the board.

Does anyone know if any departments or teams that would be worth focussing on, or is it the reality that they're actually quite stuck?

I'm hesitant to include too much information here for obvious reasons but any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
