Since installing my engine guard I’m noticing some vibrating that wasn’t there before. It’s especially noticeable at around 5k RPM and especially if I’m engine braking through that RPM range. I have a trip coming up this weekend and I’m considering just taking them off until I have more time to figure it out.
Any advice or insight would be appreciated if anyone knows what could be the cause 🙏
Hello! I’m currently installing some crash bars (or trying to at least) and I’ve figured out how to do everything else but I literally CANNOT get these screws out. I’ve watched guides, I’ve given it like 4 separate attempts, and I cannot for the life of me get them out. I’m using a 12mm socket wrench on the nut side with a 12mm on the pictured bolt side. I’ve tried it vice verse as well.
I’m by no means a hulking mass of muscle but I also workout regularly and know how to give something maximum effort, and I literally cannot get these things to budge.
Any advice or insight? Do I just need to fork over the money and take it into a shop?

I’m seeing endless complaints on the difficulty, enemy health, not enough damage, etc. and I’m just confused. The game is certainly challenging but by no means does it feel impossible. I’m 11 hours in and have progressed at a nice pace with good exploration and it has been amazing - it’s a very charming game. Reading this sub tho I feel like I’m having a completely different experience than most people here lol. At least the steam reviews are mostly positive, the devs definitely deserve that.

I’m posting here since this group is the most likely to not know the importance of hearing protection on a motorcycle. There’s posts constantly about it but I think it’s warranted and people still slip through the cracks and start riding without knowing.
It has taken me quite awhile to figure out a decent setup to actually protect my hearing. Having gone through multiple types of ear plugs and researching other things that help this is what I’ve landed on.
- Earpeace Sport Pro 27db
- Blackstrap Merino Wool Hood
- Wind blocker on the chin for my helmet (Shoei RF SR)
Finding the right pair of earplugs was difficult for me but these are the first that have actually worked, and learning how to put them in properly was huge (you don’t just shove them in your ear).
The merino wool hood keeps my earplugs in place and prevents on wind from funneling up into my ears, and it also keeps sweat off my helmet pads and blocks sun on my neck. Tbh this thing is a 10/10 and would highly recommend.
My helmet came with an insert mesh that I can shove between the pads of my chin and it actually helps block a lot of wind buffering. I totally ignored this piece when I got my helmet and didn’t start using it until another rider told me about it lol.
All of this might seem excessive but after riding making my tinnitus even worse I’ve had to do everything I can to prevent further damage and keep riding. Just wanted to share what has worked for me so others don’t have to find out the hard way.

Hey everyone, I’m in the market for a gauntlet and I’ve narrowed it down to a few different ones - mostly between Five and RST.
One thing I’m noticing is Five doesn’t seem to have traditional palm sliders? Seems to be a special synthetic instead. I’ve seen people on this sub rave about Five so I’d be curious to see what people’s opinions are on their proprietary palm slider and if it’s not something I should be weary of. Thanks for any input!
