Is this a red ring mod?
Found this Marketplace listing for an RF 45mm f/1.2 STM in the wild and noticed the red ring on the lens. This is obviously not an L series lens - did this person literally swap the control ring piece for a red one?

Hi all, wanted to share some enhancements that a woodworking buddy of mine made to my BROR workbench I use in my home office. The two complaints I've had about this workbench are the lack of casters, and the pine top (I always felt the top it came with felt pretty cheap, especially compared to Husky workbenches that are pretty competitively priced).
The replacement top is made of cherry wood, with some Danish oil and lacquer. It's a lot more pleasing to handle and looks way nicer than the stock pine. To support the added wheels, my friend installed some wooden support blocks. With the black coat of paint and the chamfered edges I think they blend right in! At first I considered going with side-mounted casters that would drill right into the metal (inspired by this blog post), but they're kind of niche, so it felt a bit riskier; by going with basic flat-top casters that screw into the support blocks, I have a lot more options down the road if I need to upgrade or replace them. The casters themselves are otherwise pretty simple; the front two have brakes and they roll relatively well over our wood floor. Overall I'm super pleased with the result! Thanks for checking it out :)
