Max size for a 50k account

For those trading a $50k account with a $2k drawdown, I’m curious how much do you risk per trade, and how many contracts do you trade on average?
I’m currently trying to limit my risk to $100 per trade, which most of the time means trading just 1 MNQ contract. I’m wondering if I’m being too conservative or if this is a reasonable approach and I should stick with it.

How is dividend for big bag holders

For those of you holding $500k+ in TQQQ (especially those with portfolios in the millions), how meaningful have you found the quarterly dividend?
My TQQQ position recently surpassed $500k thanks to the rally we’ve had since March, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a $1,032 dividend today.
I’m curious, once a position grows to $2–3 million, does the dividend become significant enough to provide meaningful monthly income?

Is your trading time frame determined by personality?

I've been trading for a year or two now, and I've come across many different types of traders. Some trade higher time frames (like the 15-minute chart), take only one trade a day, and often don't trade at all on some days. Others trade the 1-minute chart and can easily take 10 or more trades in a single session.

What makes someone gravitate toward one style over the other? Could they be just as successful if they switched strategies, or does it come down to personality? For example, do some people naturally do better with higher time frames, while others are better suited to faster-paced, short-term trading?

How do you figure out which trading style is the best fit for you?

Why no app?

I see the web page that opens on the phone, is pretty good. You can see charts and place trades. Why not have a dedicated app then?

Trade scaling issue with metrics

Hey guys,

When I scale out of a trade in TopstepX by taking partial profits, each partial exit is counted as a separate trade in the performance statistics. This doesn't seem accurate.

For example, if I enter with 5 micros and take profits in three separate exits, TopstepX records that as three trades. However, if I exit the entire position at once, it counts as only one trade.

This is significantly affecting my performance metrics and trade statistics, making them appear different from my actual trading activity.

Is there a way to have scaled exits grouped into a single trade, or is there a setting I'm missing? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Future is bright! Lets goooo!!!

With recent major IPOs on the horizon, including companies like SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic the future for the tech sector has rarely looked more exciting.

AI is still in its early, and It's exciting to imagine where the next 10 years could take the Nasdaq as these companies mature, once they make their way into the index!!!

Between AI, automation, robotics, and continued technological innovation, the long-term outlook for QQQ looks incredibly strong.

Bullish on tech. Bullish on QQQ. And by extension, very bullish on TQQQ.

I am currently holding a 500k position in TQQQ. Let's gooooo! 🚀📈
