Let’s go didn’t even take 1 minute !

Needed some place to vent to, I am usually a high rr low wr ( at least 6:1 rr 40% wr) trader, but this week was horrible for me, I was 600$ away from a payout and now I’m 6000 away. This comes from a combination of greed tilt and overconfidence. Hopefully next week will be better for me, asking for everyone’s prayers as this has taken a massive mental toll on me

Yesterday I hit my $3k DLL on a $150k account and somehow ended up at -$4,480. Almost $1,500 past the limit. Support blamed slippage and “high volatility” even though the market was literally consolidating at the time. They even tried blaming my internet lol.
Today I went back to trading thinking I’d still have $1,500 left before my MLL, since that’s literally why I had a DLL enabled. Instead, I got liquidated almost immediately because yesterday’s loss had left me with just $20.
I’ve been with Topstep for 2 years, received over $25k in payouts, and hit DLL plenty of times before. Never experienced anything remotely close to this.
Opened 2 support tickets. Windy couldn’t even understand the issue, and the human support replies looked like copy-pasted AI responses.
What’s the point of having a DLL if this can happen? And why can’t Topstep give me a proper explanation instead of making excuses?

try it yall simply buy a micro and catch 200 ticks each time and that twice a day, u will get further than wasting time with mini and go in a cycle of run up a comb then blow the funded. I’ve had enough of that and that’s how I end up here. Looking at the pnl charts of the combs is exactly the reason I do it for! 5 stack end of the month is goal!

hey guys, ive been probably one of the most loyal and longest customer in topstep, my trading journey has been tough but rewarding and lately i have a lot of reflections about life being a trader. in short, i find difficult in finding a purpose in life when a 1-2 hour work suffice all my necessary spending and im not planning to open accounts with other props cuz i think only topstep is trustworthy, so basically for the rest of the days i find myself wandering, going to parks, read, paint, living like a retired man while i just turned 24, its just this was not what i expected when i started this journey 6 years ago.

Blew my eval yesterday so decided to pop off today on the practice account.

These last two weeks have been pretty good. I passed two accounts, the first being a 50K DLL account. My first day funded, I just wanted to catch a trade. The second day, I was able to catch some pretty good trades, but today, I don’t know what happened. All the discipline that got me to this point went out the window. I started taking trades just to take them, and when I was wrong, I didn’t want to accept it, so I held onto trades knowing I was risking everything I had worked for.
I only needed four more green days of $150 to qualify for a payout, and somehow I still let myself get in my own way. Last night, I passed my second account, a 50K static, and I did the same thing all over again. Instead of being patient and sticking to my plan, I got caught up in wanting to make money.
I honestly don’t even know anymore, bro. I’ve worked so hard to get to this point, and it’s frustrating watching myself throw away the very discipline that got me here. Part of me doesn’t even want to trade these funded accounts anymore. I know I’m capable of doing this because I’ve proven it, but right now, I feel like I’m my own biggest enemy.
