Sisters from the same litter! Just recently adopted them both at 1.5 years old. They are actually so good at being independent but when they cuddle it’s the most ridiculously cute thing ever. I hope someone enjoys these pics as much as I do 😭

Lucy and her sister have been my fosters since mid-July. They are just over 1 year and 4 months old. They’re both such a delight, and Lucy has been such a cuddlebug since day 1 in my home.

We noticed her breath smelled a lot more than her sister’s, and she left blood on a toy, so I took her to the vet (and two more after that to confirm) who diagnosed her with stomatitis. I never would have guessed as she is very good at hiding her pain and eats normally, thankfully. She is so so so sweet. Even at her vet visits she purrs and flops. She’s brought so much joy to my everyday.

I’ve shopped around and I’ve been able to get the cost down to $1783.85 - $2015.37, including the rescue discount this vet was able to give us. Her surgery is scheduled for Sept. 4th. Unfortunately, the rescue is a one-woman show and isn’t able to cover the cost of her procedure. She’s actually put the rescue on pause since paying for Lucy’s initial two visits put her way out of budget indefinitely.

To be clear, I’ll be paying for it out of pocket regardless, but I did make this GoFundMe to help with the unexpected expense if anyone would like to donate. 💗

If donations happen to exceed the cost of Lucy’s care, I’ll donate the excess to the rescue to help with future cats in need.
