Do I really need any indexers beyond these two: NZBFinder and DrunkenSlug?
I only have these two. Are they enough, or am I missing something?

Are there any self-hosted alternatives or add-ons for Trakt that I can run on our own server?
Am I the only one? I spend hours tweaking everything and minutes watching movies.and somehow I love it😁
For me, when it's not cached, it usually takes 6 to 12 seconds. Share your experience.
Most add-ons already work great without self-hosting. Other than the Usenet stack, is there any add-on actually worth self-hosting for a real advantage?
Thanks.
I’m still a beginner and this is simply my personal experience after experimenting with it myself.
I noticed many people buy a Usenet provider and an indexer expecting it to work like a debrid service. It doesn’t.
Most assume it’s like RealDebrid. Paste an API key and everything magically works. That’s far from reality.
After a lot of trial and error I realized what’s actually needed is a proper self hosted setup. There really isn’t a shortcut if you want reliable direct Usenet streaming.
What you need:
A download client capable of serving files over WebDAV for real time streaming
A Stremio addon that connects your indexers to the download client
A reverse proxy with HTTPS
A Usenet provider plus at least one good indexer
Ideally a VPS for stability and uptime
It’s definitely not beginner friendly at first. But once everything finally clicks together the experience becomes incredibly smooth. Near instant streaming directly from Usenet with full control over your own stack.
What surprised me most was the library size. Honestly it feels massive. Bigger than anything I personally found through debrid services and that alone made the effort worth it.
On PC you can technically do it without a VPS
Hopefully future tools and updates make the process much easier for regular users.
Through trial and error endless AI discussions and a lot of experimenting I somehow managed to self-host NZBDAV and stream NZB Usenet content despite having absolutely zero self-hosting background. As a long-time Usenet user I genuinely thought this would never be possible. I only believed it after seeing it work myself. I plugged in my old collection of indexers and providers and suddenly it became a smooth near plug and play experience with an absurdly massive almost endless library and barely any delay.

RD is tagging files as infringing. One guy with 200TB found 77% of his library (197TB) marked broken internally, even if they look healthy."
Big crackdown happening.

Are there any add-ons similar to Newznab that do not require self hosting? To search usenet indexers?
Also how can I add two indexers within Newznab?
Thanks.
