I bought an item from Mercari which was fulfilled by BEENOS, for items based in Japan. After paying, it said the item wasn’t available anymore. Instead of giving a refund, they only offered credit despite talking to customer support. I don’t use Mercari often, so a credit is useless to me. Just posting as a warning since it’s ridiculous they don’t check listings are in stock and refuse to give refunds.

curious how sakura’s version of we ride will turn out since she’s so off key…

i am a big fan of lexie and watched pop star academy multiple times. i was so excited for prelude so that lexie could finally debut as well. but im disappointed with her attitude…

i really appreciated how she followed her values and morals leaving dream academy due to the girls being tricked into a survival show, and how she disagreed with how HxG handled things (ex. non-human tv-voice eliminations and revealing what the girls said in secret confidence about their preferred members)

i am also SO disappointed that talentless Sakura is a part of the group, and think Ayana was a much better choice in all aspects.

BUT lexie chose to come back to HxG to debut after all that after dream academy. she shouldn’t look so obviously disappointed, and ice out Sakura during the live, etc. It makes Emily feel the need to overcompensate to include Sakura, etc. Which also makes it more awkward.

Lexie knew HxG is unfair… she knows things get fixed when HxG prefer someone like Manon, etc. So of course this would happen again. She is adding more drama and discourse to the group, instead of helping it.

Even though I personally won’t stan the group because I’m so disappointed in how Prelude rolled out….in order to make the group successful, she needs to play the part more and make Sakura feel included. We all see the body language and unspoken feelings in just the finale and live alone. it’s not helping anyone for her to publicly show she isn’t happy with the result, especially when she chose to come back to HxG.

i’m not saying she just needs to take everything HxG does silently or anything, but she needs to think about the group as a whole and how it affects her career and her group’s career, or else it just adds more and more speculation of discourse in the group. Passive aggressive behavior doesn’t help anyone

it’s not an issue for me right now, but curious how people who have actually FIREd have dealt with this, especially from people who come from community-centered cultures vs individualistic cultures.

both my partner and i have siblings that spend frivolously, spend $$$ to stan their favorite celebrities, and have no retirement savings. one of them hasn’t even opened a 401k despite working FT for 14 years now.

you can’t help people that won’t help themselves. but i know for a fact when they’re old, they will guilt trip and ask for money, especially once they’ve seen my partner and i have saved up for 40 years.

it’s not something im worrying about now (doesn’t change the outcome), but just curious about other people’s experiences.
