Power steering pressure line.

I’m replacing the power steering pump and pressure line in my 2013. How similar is the job for second gen vs first? TRQ has a video for the pressure line but it’s first gen. Is the process the same? The lines look similar. Thanks!

Not super pleased.

I bought a “set” of stainless cookware from made in at what I thought was the last minute of the Memorial Day sale. I own a very small catering business and have never in my life had a set of pans that all matched. I agonized about buying these pans as it was still pretty steep for me even with the sale going on. I placed my order before midnight on 5/25 got a conformation email at 12:02 am on 5/26. I felt relieved I had made it in time and I was very excited. The next day I got another email saying if I wanted to add anything else it would ship for free with a code. Ok cool. However the sale was extended through father’s day, weird, I guess I didn’t need to rush. Fast forward to the pans arriving, the set is not a set. What I mean is I got mix of different logos on the handles of the pots and pans. Most of the pans I received had the old lower case logo. While my three quart saucier and four quart sauce pan had a logo I had never seen and wasn’t represented on any of the pans that were featured on the website. It was so staunchly different that these two pans looked like faux made in. Turns out these pans had the third installment of the logo which is in caps. There is another post where someone is asking if the pans with new logos are faux because of how different they look. On top of that the four quart saucepan handle was broken inside somehow as it had a piece of metal that was sliding around inside and making a noise.

I reached out to made in and asked about why my set wasn’t actually a set and that one of the handles was damaged. I asked to exchange what didn’t match for pieces that did and to replace the pan with the broken handle.

Come to find basically the “sets” are what they had left of old stock and couldn’t send me replacements because they don’t have them anymore. No where on the site during the sale, or the extended sale, was it mentioned that some pieces would be mismatched. I looked a lot. I also went back through each image of what I had received on the site and all the pans had the old lowercase logo. I did this to make sure I didn’t overlook something that would have ultimately been my issue for not reading fine print. When I asked about this in my emails to the company they replied that the photos online are in fact old photos of pots and pans that don’t match what you would receive if ordered.

While I was disappointed because I did in fact not receive a set of pans I forwent sending the whole thing back and asked to just replace the broken four quart replaced. Not sure I would have received a new “set” anyway. They said no problem sent it out immediately. Great, thanks.

My new four quart arrived and frankly the quality kinda stinks. This new pan is not smooth across the inside like others and has very defined circular markings. They are quite raised and a little rough. When I ran my finger around the inside it felt like a track instead of just being smooth across. The center of the pan is convex as well and I can feel the peak of it when I run my finger across the inside. I noticed after I used it once to make some farmer’s cheese.

I am terribly disappointed as I was really pumped about these. They came recommended to me by my old chef and with all the celeb chef endorsement I thought they were legit. I had been gifted a made in carbon steel pan that I really liked and kinda beat the shit out of. It has wrapped a little on the bottom from use but I used it during an open fire dinner. I have also used the carbon steel griddle and find it to be pretty great. The stainless however I’m not so sure about. The eight quart stock pot is very susceptible to salt pitting. I had never really heard of this until I pitted mine with salt. Ok oops cold water and salt in the pot is bad I guess but I used it again added salt to hot water and it pitted again.

Has anyone else had quality issues with the pans or pots? The thing with the logo sucks because it was not a set as I was led to believe. But mostly my issue is that two of the same pans I got have issues and I feel like the salt thing with the stock pot pitting like that is crazy. I have never noticed something like. I got my mom a set of Cuisinarts like 10 years ago and she throws salt in cold water all the time and I haven’t noticed any pitting.

I will at least try and exchange the four quart again but honestly don’t even want them anymore. It feels like they got one over on me. I would like to just return them all and move on but I don’t think I can. Every time I look at them I feel bummed 😂.

Circlip in inner axle boot?

Does anybody know about the small plastic ring known as a circlip? It was inside my passenger axle boot and I need to replace it. It’s just a plastic ring and I can’t seem to find it online outside of buying an inner boot kit. I’m honestly not sure if it is in the boot kit because what is pictured doesn’t ‘t really look like this plastic ring. Could anyone shine some light on this? It’s a 2013 with 4 wheel.
