Things that help with prevention

Things that help me with pain and prevention 🌺 that I hope will help u too

D’mannose: A sugar that binds to the ecoli in ur bladder making it easier to flush it out of ur system and avoid infection. IT IS FREAKING AWESOME
I use the micro ingredients one bc it’s pure d’mannose no icky fillers an whatevs.
It’s only prevention so it won’t cure current infections but u can absolutely (I would def recommend) taking it along side antibiotics to flush that bacteria OUT.

Bi carb soda: like a teaspoon or half a teaspoon in a big glass of water, it’s cheaper and works just as good if not better then ural and over ph balancers I’ve tried. It’s just a pain relief tho, and is sodium so be careful if u got high sodium

Women’s Flora Probiotics: I take em every morning but ESPECIALLY take them if you are on antibiotics, two hours before or after ur antibiotics to make sure you are replenishing ur good bacteria (SO IMPORTANT)

Turmeric and Ginger: When painkillers stopped working turmeric and ginger really helped with my inflammation, not completely obvi but very noticeably (it’s also amazing it u have IC. Grate it into tea or u can legit just take a small bite of the root and chew. It’s an acquired taste tho so like yeh be warned lol.

Cranberry sups for immune and more general support

Antihistamines: Can aid in inflammatory pain but personally I think it helps more during an IC flare

And as always DRINK THAT WAWA XD

I really really hope this helps, utis, especially reoccurring ones are are freaking awful and super painful >:[ BUT we stay strong and keep going :] I’ll keep trying new things and if they work I’ll make another post. Also, feel free to ask questions if u need! I’ve been managing these stupid things as well as IC since I was 14 (I’m 25 now) so if you need assistance on either I’ll do my best 🌺🌸🌻
