Obsessively tracking! First beta test in two days

I’m so excited! I’m 9dpt from a 5dt and have my first beta test with my doctor on Tuesday. Praying they are developing appropriately and the beta test reflects that!!!

5dp5dt

Had a real squinter yesterday @ 4dpt, tested again when I woke up today and I can really see that line now!! I know it’s just the beginning but I am feeling so much relief. Taking it a day at a time and celebrating the small wins!

3dp5dt and really freaked

I know I shouldn’t have tested but I did and it was a stark white negative on the pregmate strips. This is my first FET and I am really trying to be optimistic but it’s really, really hard. My thoughts jump from “I’m pregnant until proven otherwise” to intrusive thoughts around my two autoimmune diseases and convincing myself my body isn’t capable of sustaining a pregnancy. Topped with OCD, the lack of certainty and control here is driving me bonkers 🙃 And yes, I have a therapist and take Zoloft daily!!! I know most people test negative 3dpt, but some get faint lines and I’m getting nothing. Any words of advice or positivity would really help here. I’m having a lot of trouble focusing on anything else.

1dp5dt with a euploid Day-5 5AB blastocyst, as nervous as ever

Deleted earlier post due to posting it in the wrong place. Please send baby dust and stress reduction tips to help get me through this wait period!!!! I’m really nervous about the outcome but am trying to be as optimistic as possible. I’ve been feeling some slight cramping / twinges in the lower pelvic area and I know it doesn’t necessarily mean that implantation is taking place but I’m choosing to believe it is 🥹

Apisto Borellii Mystery lesions/discoloring need help ASAP

What do you think is going on here? My first thought was Columnaris because of the class saddleback looking pale patches on either side of her head. Her name is Mimi and I have had her for close to 7 months. She is eating, active, and being “flirty” with her mate. Everyone else in the tank is fine. Let me know your thoughts.. I think I plan on putting her in a hospital tank regardless but in the event it’s just a scrape or something I don’t want to put her through needless stress.

Estradiol is making me lose my mind (and body)

Came here to rant. I am prepping for my FET which is supposed to take place in less than two weeks (yay!!!!!!!) and the estradiol is really messing with me. I feel indescribable rage toward my husband (who I adore and treats me like a princess). My mood swings are out of this world, literally like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, and I’ve only been taking the tablets for four days. I’ve also had a migraine for 2 days straight that Tylenol, Advil, electrolytes, water, you name it- won’t touch. Im exhausted and so low energy and everything is making me cry. I feel soooooo freaking terrible mentally and physically, and I know this is temporary, and SO worth it, but woah. Let me know what your thoughts/experiences have been with Estradiol, and if you have any advice because I feel like I’m losing my mind and need to be on it for another week at a minimum and I dread each dose. For me, the mood component has been dramatically more intense than when I was doing my stim cycle. And I feel terrible for my husband too who is getting the brunt of it.

Egg Retrieval Success

As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t really have many people in my life who understand this process or who I can lean on for support, aside from my husband, so I wanted to share a little bit of happy news here.

I had my retrieval today, and they got 18 eggs, which was a huge surprise to both my doctor and myself given my stage 4 endo and laparoscopic surgery last summer. They prepared me for a number closer to 10ish or less. I know there are still many steps ahead before a live birth, but today I feel so, so happy and relieved

Thank you all so much for your support. This online community has truly been amazing.

Loneliness in my IVF journey

I am a 31 year old with stage 4 endometriosis and DOR. After 7 months of TTC post laparoscopy, my obgyn referred me to my wonderful RE. That being said, I’m currently in the middle of my first stim cycle, with my ER scheduled for this weekend. I’m incredibly excited as well as nervous about it all. The one part that I’m struggling with is loneliness. I don’t feel I have friends or a support group I could talk to about it. Not in a trauma dumping way, but the exciting parts (and maybe the hard parts too sometimes) but I’m concerned it could push them away further or fall on deaf ears. I have zero friends in my life who can relate to what I’m going through. I was the first of my friends to get married and move out of NYC. Not to play the victim, but I noticed a major shift in the dynamics of our friendships as soon as I got married. I stopped getting invited to things. It feels we have less and less in common. I did a little test run by sharing with one of my nearest and dearest (or so I thought) friends from this friend group and excitedly share the news and her response was essentially “what??? Are you sure??? Ok…….” Not a semblance of excitement, encouragement, etc. Instead I found myself overexplaining why I’m ready, why I would be a great mom, etc as if I was trying to prove something to her. I regretted sharing immediately. I must say, I felt a little jealous (albeit happy!) for my husband who excitedly shared with several of his friends this week who were very excited and encouraging. I wish I had more close friends, and more people who could relate to what it’s like to have DOR as a 31 year old, but instead I feel like a burden, or like I have to over explain why I want kids etc, defend why I’m ready, etc if I try to talk about it. I don’t know, just feeling a bit lonely and thought I would vent these feelings here to see if anyone could relate or give me feedback. Thank you all, this subreddit has been sooo helpful for me the past few weeks.
