One of my biggest motivations for BJJ is my kids. Any other parents train with theirs?

I started BJJ at 38, and getting to train alongside my two boys has become one of my favorite parts of it.

We train, compete, and get to go through the whole journey together. Curious how many other parents here train with their kids. Did you get them into BJJ, or did they get you into it?

Anyone else find No-Gi less exhausting than Gi?

I've always preferred Gi over No-Gi, but when I competed No-Gi for the first time, I was surprised by how much less exhausting it felt compared to Gi.

I still prefer Gi, but competing No-Gi definitely changed my perspective. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Started BJJ at 38. Now 40.

I started BJJ at 38. I’m 40 now, a blue belt and father of two who train as well. Definitely wish I started sooner, but better late than never.

Anyone else start BJJ later in life?
