We play in a relatively competitive league and have a tournament in a week and a half.
We have a player who has been on the team a long time who has been practicing with an overseas club for the past 2 months. He has never practiced with this incarnation of the team.
He’s about to make his return and his first day available will be the tournament final.
His Mom is asking if he should come to the tournament. Thoughts?
So my ex-wife has the boys today and I wish they were here. Fortunately I’ve got the house that has the ability to bike around the neighborhood. This results in lots of flat tires and popped bike tubes.
They’re not here, but I can take care of them by fixing the bike tub. I’m sitting here fixing this bike too because the boys will be back and they’ll appreciate that I did it…. some day
It’s kinda a zen thing.
I’m curious… what is your version of patching the bike tube?
So Trackside looks like its going to be the best for watching USA, but I'm a nut and am going to be watching many more matches than that.
Does anyone have recommendations for places ? Particularly ones that will be playing Mexico as well as the USA?

So I’m moving into a new house. My STBX and I are working on a collaborative divorce, but she’s dragging her feet. It’s going SOOOO slow
We currently have a single bank account as she hasn’t earned in a material fashion in 12 years.
She’s starting to say things like “we need to give the boys a budget” for their new rooms.
I’m more thinking I’m going to decide my paycheck and put it in two separate accounts. She can then do whatever she wants
Problem is…. I’m not sure what numbers are appropriate. How much money should I put into the account?
I’m thinking in percentages. I’m debating 30-50%. It should be temporary until we get a proper agreement.
Has anyone been on this situation or can advise me on best course forward?
So today I’m moving into the new house. The boys and I are hosting an empty house sleepover for some of their friends while I try and make a list of all the things I need to do. I’m going to find a poster or record or other piece of art for each room and use it as a color palette to paint and decorate.
Any advice on how to make this transition as seamless as possible for my boys?
