Chennai is at the risk of falling behind cities like Noida, Ahmedabad, Vizag, Amaravati etc which are aggressively building new airports and growth engines.

Every time a new site for Chennai's 2nd Greenfield Airport is announced, remember it will keep moving away from the city. Oragadam to Parandur to the next where? Ranipet??

The airport today is an investment magnet. From attracting niche aerospace investments to high paying GCC jobs. It's not about flying alone today CM Vijay Sir. Bengaluru airport contributes 6% to Bengaluru's GDP.

Pay more compensation to the farmers who have been affected but do not shelve the project. We can't lose another 10 years by choosing a place, preparing DFR DPR & approvals & Land Acquisition in a new place.

Chennai is surrounded by lakes. One can't find 5000 acres of continuous land without ponds & lakes.

I hope you guys will understand the importance of the project.

High Speed Rail alignment of CBHSR in Chennai City.

Apart from Chennai Central & Poonamalle stations seen in this map, another station is proposed at Parandur.

In addition to this, a station at Chennai PRR near Vichur, as part of Chennai Hyderabad HSR

Chennai HSR Terminal Station is going to be Underground Station for Chennai - Bengaluru & Chennai - Hyderabad Lines.

Hope They have a plan for South Bound Line platform to cover Trichy, Madurai.
