Finally got both! One35 vs Zero40 running NDS side by side. Which one do you prefer?

Here's a quick comparison using New Super Mario Bros. (NDS) with the same emulator settings.

My first impressions:

  • One35: More compact and pocketable. The 3.5" display feels surprisingly good for DS games.
  • Zero40: Although it has a larger 4.0" display, the individual DS screens end up being about the same size as the One35 once the center gap between the top and bottom screens is removed.

I haven't decided which one I like more yet.

For those who own both (or have tried both), which one would you keep, and why?

This Chrome extension turns web highlights into connected notes

Bookmarks were becoming useless for me, so I made a Chrome extension that lets me turn web highlights into connected notes.

The idea is simple:

  • highlight something interesting
  • save it instantly
  • connect related ideas together later

Made a quick demo video of the workflow.

Extension:

Would love feedback or workflow ideas from other Chrome extension users.

Experimenting with a GTD + atomic notes workflow for a more beginner-friendly second brain

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how overwhelming “second brain” systems can feel when you first get into PKM.

A lot of the ideas are really interesting atomic notes, Zettelkasten, graph linking, connected knowledge but for non-technical users it can also feel like “where do I even start?”

So I’ve been experimenting with a simpler workflow that combines:

  • GTD for structure
  • atomic notes for capturing small ideas
  • AI-assisted “Grow Knowledge” linking to connect related concepts together

For this demo, I kept it intentionally small with just 2 notes:

  • “What is RAG?”
  • “What are embeddings?”

Then I let the system connect and grow the related ideas automatically.

What I found interesting is that GTD helps keep things practical and organized, while atomic notes make knowledge feel more flexible and easier to grow over time without turning into a giant mess of documents.

Still experimenting with different approaches, so I’m curious how people here organize their own systems.

Do you use:

  • GTD?
  • PARA?
  • Zettelkasten?
  • folders?
  • graph views?
  • manual linking?
  • automatic linking?

Would love to hear how other people approach their second-brain workflows.
