Who has the best tamales on the north / northwest side of town?

Not really looking for advice, but just need to commiserate. I’ve done three egg retrievals and have had two failed transfers so far. There are three people I follow who also have done IVF and they’ve all recently announced their pregnancies after doing one egg retrieval and one transfer, or in two cases one egg retrieval and then one transfer for both their first and second pregnancies. I’m genuinely happy for them, but also so filled with jealousy that my experience has been so lengthy and difficult. IVF sucks and I feel so much guilt over being angry that other people have faster journeys going through it. I just wish it was my turn.

I know this is a negative (although genuine) post, and I was not sure at all what reaction I’d get here. I just want to say thank you very much to all of you in the comments who have shared your experiences coping with the same negative feelings. I’m blown away by the vast amount of supportive messages. It’s been very cathartic to read through your responses and has made me feel much less alone in these tough feelings. Thanks for joining my pity party, I really needed it 🥹
