Monday madness: PC Engine with JAMMA adapter and Game Doctor.
Sadly I don't have a DRAM cart for the Game Doctor, but it runs with a Everdrive so I'll probably just do that.

Anyone have 3D print files for a case that will fit a RetroTink RGB2COMP? I have one of the old ones, before the injection molded cases, and the 3D print is delaminating.
My organization skills have been poor this past year... forgot I had stashed three boxes under the red book cart with some uncommon games. I was checking my spreadsheet and it showed I had Sengoku 3, which I couldn't remember picking up and could find no mention of in emails etc. But sure enough, there it is.
I know, parody sub. But this is a good video that explains how complex your phones location services are and how much work it is to get it to function on the globe earth (and can't possibly work on a flat one).
Not a lot more to find… kind of slim pickings. I know that in past years vendors have had issues with theft and have either not come back or aren’t bringing as much “good stuff”. Pity, I like the trip to Pasadena but may have to skip it next year.
One interesting item I did find is the pictured Korean AES. They were asking $500 but it’s a bit rough with a svideo mod hacked on so I passed. Still nifty and not something you see state side often.
Picked up Cyber-lip since it was well under current market price, and a vendor had some aftermarket snap boxes (picked up one to try since I have a few loose carts). Spotted a few more titles around, some I see every year at stupid prices but some more competitive. Still kind of lite this year. Portland Retro Game con seems the better of the two west coast events, but I like the Pasadena area better.
Being old and tired I payed to get in early. Folks are still setting up, but found a bucket of MVS carts and a fair number of AES. Prices are all over the place… from a US copy of SVC for all of the money to this copy of World Heroes 2 Jet I picked up for well under eBay prices.
Will poke around more after lunch.
Guess it’s that time of year again. Wasn’t feeling up to a trip, but I’d already booked this one so guess I get to try and spot more Neo Geo stuff.
My replacement shell for my BackBit cart arrived today. This is the new mat finish with the "bubble" label they released recently. Very easy to swap the PCBs, the shell design (old and new) has the label section as part of one of the two halves, so there's no seem behind the label and it can be opened without damaging it.
Not too sure I like the bubble label VS the old one, but overall the new shell matches my Omega MVS well so that's where I think I'll leave it.
Trying to decide between alphabetical or NGH# for sorting.
Quiz Daisousa Sen. My Japanese is not up to playing this...
Have the first three, odds are I'll pick this one up as well at some convention or other.
Two after market FRAM cards and the center pink one is a vintage 90s SRAM card similar to the original Neo Geo ones but with an externally replaceable battery. Guess I'll be adding the AES+ card to the pile.
Ignore the mess on my workbench, but I cobbled together a fully working AES 3-6 from some part systems I had around. Needs an RGB bypass, but otherwise in great shape.
I'll put it on the shelf next to all the x in 1, Darksoft Multi, Blackbit and others...
