How to identify a good dentist in India? What do I look for while finding one?

Asking all practicing dentists to tell me how to identify the best dentist to bet my money and tooth pain on.

I'm so tired of endlessly going through Google reviews which all seem so nice and polished only to end up finding someone either bossy or someone inexperienced leaving me in taking painkillers for the toothache and shrugging their shoulders saying she don't know when I discuss complications in consequences with them.

I'm so tired at this point. Please help me identify this maze. Healthcare almost feels like going for shopping... Bright shops with fancy decorations to lure in the customer.. how do I identify a genuine professional dentist who knows and does the job properly in the middle of this? The reviews seem to be promising for many of them but the truth is clear only on the other side of the consultation fee and I've seen about 4 dentists till now, and still issue not resolved..

Anyone knows where to find/buy good quality hafus/ Alphonso mangos from around mansarover?

I've tried a couple vegetable vendors but have had bad experiences so far. Paid about 100 rupees per mango only to find out rotten from inside ( looked perfect from outside).

I see empty mango cardboard boxes lying in trash and hence I believe there might be somewhere I'm unaware of that has good quality sweet mangoes.

Please suggest proficient, well- mannered dentist in mansarover or nearby area 😭

Recently got a premolar cavity filled. It didn't hurt until the last mta sandwich layer was placed yesterday. I've been taking painkillers since yesterday to manage the pain which is basically the entire right half of my head. I didn't needed painkillers till this point, even after the filing was done but I can't do this anymore.

I spoke to my doc and was advised to go ahead with the root canal.

Honestly I don't think I trust the dentist at this point. I want to see some other well-experienced and gentle dentist (I've met authoritative and arrogant ones in the past, so don't want that). Someone who knows their job well and experienced enough to not have experiments on me.

Please suggest a dentist only if you have taken treatment from them and found them genuine, proficient, and well mannered. I know it's rare to find someone who meets all the requirements , so all suggestions are welcome. I'm preferably looking around mansarover or nearby area.

Thanks!

What is this and how?

I recently got a tooth filling done (MTA sandwich filling) for a cavity in my premolar and I'm still kinda under observation for nerve response so the final layering is still due. Meanwhile, my dentist asked me to brush my teeth twice a day and wash my mouth with Vantage aqua mouthwash every time after. I'm doing so as per her recommendation since the last week.

My mouth has been feeling a bit weird for the last few days but till now, I couldn't explain how exactly. I also couldn't taste the flavours in my food very well. And last night, I checked around my top gums with my finger and found this slimy white thing which dried up into a thready structure in the gums above the canines. I washed my mouth, brushed, did mouthwash, and slept. When I woke up this morning, I found ALOT of the same slimy thready whitish thing in all the corners of my mouth, particularly more near the gums around the molars.

Can someone tell me what this is?

How did it form in the mouth?

is it some sort of side effect of the mouthwash or something else?

Is it toxic or normal?

What to do for it not form again?

Should I discontinue the mouthwash?

Thanks

What solution would you suggest for this decaying premolar. It's close to the nerve in the x-ray but there is no pain so far.

I only feel sensitivity towards cold beverages and normal water, not for hot beverages.

I've been different types of indirect pulp capping at this stage, because the nerve is not exposed for root canal RCT. But doctors have suggested different types of capping treatment procedures.. 2 layer, 3 layer, etc. They are drastically varied in charges so I thought of asking here for advice on which capping to go for. Both doctor said if capping doesn't work, we have to go for root canal. I hope things can get resolved without going for RCT, by capping itself.

Would appreciate expert advice on this.

PS: also, I'm scared of eating anything at this point. I'm afraid food will get stuck in this crater. A normal toothbrush can't clean this, so I'd appreciate any insights on how to maintain oral hygiene until I see the dentist next time.
