Do you think AI will actually change events, or mostly just improve the boring parts?

I've been thinking about this while working in event technology.

Whenever AI and events come up, the conversation usually goes toward the big stuff like AI planning events, replacing event staff, automated venues, etc.

But I'm starting to think the more interesting changes might be much smaller.

Things that remove little frustrations for attendees or save event teams from repetitive work, without anyone really thinking about the technology behind it.

I'm curious what people working in events, attending large events, or building event tech are seeing.

What is one part of an event experience you think AI could genuinely make better?

And what is something where you think AI is completely unnecessary?

If you had to rebuild your SaaS from scratch, what would you do differently?

For me, I'd start marketing a lot earlier.

When we started building TurtlePic, I kept telling myself, "We'll start marketing once the product is ready."

The problem is, I don't think a product is ever really finished. Every week I find something that could be improved or another feature that would make the product better. If I waited until it felt "complete," I'd probably still be waiting.

What surprised me was how much harder marketing turned out to be. With development, it's usually obvious when something works or when it doesn't. Marketing isn't like that. You can spend weeks on cold outreach, LinkedIn, blog posts, Reddit, or videos and still have no idea what's actually moving the needle.

If I had to start over, I'd build and market at the same time instead of treating them as two separate phases.

Curious what everyone else's answer would be.

How do you deliver client galleries for events like weddings, corporate events etc.?

I attend events very frequently, from weddings to corporate events, around the globe. As a guest, one common struggle had always been that even with a team of professional photographers present at each venue, it was still impossible to get my photos from the event captured by them.

At times, I received gallery links from Pixieset, Smugmug etc. but it was impossible for me to get "My Photos" from the 1k+ photos captured at the event. That's why I came up with the idea to build TurtlePic - an AI platform for event photographers to share their work with every guest using AI. Every guest just takes one selfie and instantly finds all of "Their Own Photos" from the event.

As a Founder, I'm looking for a genuine feedback from the community if this is a problem you've often heard about from the client or their guests and what platform do you currently use for delivering client galleries?
