paid a guide almost 400 canadian….

so i get out of siem reap airport, solo female traveler 27. (i look young tho) and i was told grab is super expensive. i didnt even look at the price (also pls note this is my second time solo traveling asia) i just said fuck it and took it. 25$ usd. so closer to 30+ canadian. i noticed the driver had other tours offer. i wanted to go to ankgor wat. he said we can do a full day plus water fall. 130USD.
i thought oh that seems very expensive. but i thought that included the ticket. it didn’t. whatever paid additional 55 CAD to angkorwat for the ticket. then we went for breakfast and i also paid for that. i didnt have85$ so i gave him 100usd told him to keep the change.

the next day he offers to take me to the floating village. we spent half a day doing inthe village, told me to take the big boat and little boat plus to tip. i understand where i am and i always tip. especially the locals.
he was very helpful, ive had a great time with him. he even invited me for dinner to his house and i went. incredible BUT i realized ive spent closer to 400 CAD. seems insane. yes i get i got a private driver and guide but that price seems insane. anyway looking at the prices for drives and tickets i probably would’ve done everything for half. anyway i just wanted to share. not being rude but does anyone else this this is crazy hahaha.

he tells me he does lots of charity work and of course i want to support as a guest here. but i feel kinda off. haha anyway……. i also know due to the war prices haven’t up… but how the f did i spent all that in 3 days.

i’d like to thank everyone

gave up a part time opportunity assisting at the jail at 1.60/minute through my current job to solo travel for 6 months :)

those who interacted with my post about being a rda at a jail in canada. it’s crazy to me the negativity that came with that post. if you have question simply ask and i ll answer. i’m sorry that i offended anyone i was just surpise anyone would assume i would disclose that info and that it would even be in America.

Mental health - just a thought to share / ask

hello all :) i am 27, a registered nurse and started camming about a month ago. its been fun :) i think its nice for me cause i have a job that is completely separate and obviously something i can talk about and say openly (not that you can’t with camming its not illegal!! we’re all grown ups we can do what we want!!) but i was wondering if anyone also feels like mental health goes down when you cam lots? obviously it’s not great to be masturbating all day. i get that. but even just sitting in front of a computer half naked sometimes i feel … yucky. i’m not going to stop lol i do enjoy it but ive heard people talk about mental health decline and camming.

it’s like - ya the money is fantastic and especially the high you get when you cash out 5000 tokens. i’m saving up for a trip to costa rica :) looking to invest a bit, i have some goals. but i hope i don’t feel off when im traveling cause of how i made the money. oh well tho. when i was younger i did some sugar baby stuff and that was fine. we are business people proving a service.

maybe i feel a bit bitter because as a RN i make 460 in 12 hours of abuse where as in CB i make 200 in 1.5 hours of making myself feel good.

anyway just some thoughts to share :)
