Fedora on a brand new DELL Pro 7 13 2-in-1 - no screen rotation

hello good people,

I am Fedora user since.... ages... but this is my first time on a laptop.

Went with a DELL Pro 7 13 2-in-1 since I really dig the form factor and wanted to utilize it.

## Hardware Information:

- **Hardware Model:** Dell Inc. Dell Pro 7 13 2-in-1 P703265

- **Memory:** 32.0 GiB

- **Processor:** AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 PRO 465 w/ Radeon™ 880M × 20

- **Graphics:** AMD Radeon™ 890M Graphics

- **Disk Capacity:** 1.0 TB

## Software Information:

- **Firmware Version:** 1.2.3

- **OS Name:** Fedora Linux 44 (Forty Four)

- **OS Build:** (null)

- **OS Type:** 64-bit

- **GNOME Version:** 50

- **Windowing System:** Wayland

- **Kernel Version:** Linux 7.0.13-200.fc44.x86_64

but it seems my accelerator or other something else is not working properly as neither Tent or Tablet mode work and the screen is not rotating

fun fact: even the built in fingerprint reader worked out of the box, I was really surprised to see that.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting with the sensor for the screen rotation?

First thing I did, was update the BIOS to 1.2.3, as you can see

ROCKNIX for a Legion Tab?

Best would be the new Legion Tab Gen5, but the Gen 3 or 4 will also do.

Anybody has thoughts on this - wold that be a good device to run the new Steam for ARM on via Rocknix?

Like ETAprime is doing it on the Odin 3

[Q] ThinkPad T14 Fedora compatibility

Lenovo ThinkPad T14 (Intel) Gen 2

Has anyone hands on experience with this Laptop running Fedora 44?

Specifically the Wifi/BT Chip and the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and iGPU?
Not really looking into Gaming with this one (maybe some older or less demanding titles, for anything beyond that I'll throw Geforce Now or Boosteroid to it).

"Stream Deck" but as an App for touch devices

Hello good people, I am not sure, if I am in the right place here, but since I use Fedora with Gnome I figured this might be a good starting point.

I was wondering, if there is something like a "stream deck app" out there somewhere.

What do I mean?

I have Flow Z13 hooked to a dock with a big screen and it sits right beneath, so when I use it like this, I could easily have my Flow Z13 touch screen work as a kind of "stream deck", or - more general - an app launcher that shows "tiles" for my most favorite apps or shortcuts, basically simulating a stream deck with its physical buttons through the touch screen with configurable "tiles".

Now, is there anything out there like this?

Difficulties to expect when switching from Bazzite to Fedora on the ASUS ROG Flow Z13

Hello good people!

I am looking for in best case real live experience backed estimations, whether a switch from Bazzite to FEdora on the **ASUS ROG Flow Z13** could lead to unexpectred deficiencies in terms of functionality or other errors/issues/problems.

One thing that comes to my mind specifically is the functionality of the "Power Mode Button" of the Flow Z13, which works perfectly fine on Bazzite and I can switch power odes at any time (desktop, gamemode, in game, you name it) - would this still work on vanilla Fedora Workstation 44 Gnome (which is my preferred Linux distro/DE)?

Any help is much appreciated
