A year ago I asked for some advice on the measurements of Lego Rivendell. Had not yet bought the set at that time and wanted to know if it would fit in the big cabinet in the living toom.

(Still need to connect all the LMB cables and plug it into a Hue smart plug so the whole cabinet lights up on command. Also bought some custom capes and added Bill the pony)

(Sadly, need to find/build a separate display cabinet for the Shire, Minas Tirith and Barad Dur… More projects yeeeaah!)

Hi, I’m new here. It was a long time ago when I ditched my iPod(s) and went on only streaming music on Spotify.

Still got a working iPod Classic. With some old tunes from my high school time on there. So many memories!
Love all the old school tech, so a DAP sounds pretty good :)

But, I don’t have an updated offline music library anymore. Just a whole bunch of playlists on Spotify… And I don’t really want to quit Spotify either. Just want a dedicated music listening device!

Music really helps me focus, my phone does not…

So, I’ve looked through a dozen posts on here. Could not find an answer to my specific question. Here goes,

Would it make sense to buy a DAP and just use it for listening to downloaded lossless songs on Spotify. No streaming, just using it offline?
And then, if I like the separate music device, maybe start building an offline library again for later on.

This idea sounds good in my mind, would love to hear your opinion :)

Hardware tips are also very welcome,
DAP: was looking at the Fiio M21.
IEMS: no clue, something beginner but good, middle grounds I guess.
