Would a library subscription service for competitive exam aspirants work in Amritsar?

I've been thinking about starting a library subscription service in Amritsar, similar to the study libraries that are quite popular in cities like Delhi. The idea is to provide a quiet, well-maintained, air-conditioned study space with comfortable seating, high-speed Wi-Fi, power backup, charging points, lockers, and flexible monthly memberships for students preparing for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, Banking, Punjab Government exams, IELTS, etc.

I've noticed that many aspirants struggle to find a distraction-free environment to study, but I'm not sure if the demand in Amritsar is strong enough to make this a sustainable business.

MY TEACHER CALLED ME WHEN HE WAS DRUNK!!!

There was this one teacher—let's call him PEEKAY.

Peekay was a good, intellectual teacher and happened to be one of the few favourite teachers among the students. Since I was the CR, he would directly coordinate with me regarding lecture adjustments and other chores. BUT our conversations were always very professional, and he was one of those thumbs-up reaction guys.

My exams were going on, and being the CR, I was supposed to resolve students' queries, which sometimes included arranging and sending them notes even a day before an exam. Since the students were so adamant about getting some short notes, I requested Sir to send them. However, it was already past 8 p.m., so I sent him an apology as well because, obviously, it wasn't exactly an appropriate time to text him.

He sent me the notes.

BUT BUT, he said, "These are only for you. Don't send them in the group."

I didn't pay much attention to the message because I thought it was one of those jokes that students don't really comprehend but still laugh at.

AND I SENT THOSE NOTES IN THE GROUP.

The next day, we had the exam (PEEKAY's subject) and it went well. When I reached home, I saw a text from Peekay asking me how my exam had gone. Me being me, I replied, "It went well, Sir. Thanks for asking."

And then he asked me:

"WHY DID YOU SEND THOSE NOTES IN THE GROUP?"

I was taken aback for two reasons:

  1. Why was he treating me so specially?
  2. HOW DID HE COME TO KNOW THAT I HAD SENT THOSE NOTES IN THE GROUP?

Anyway, because it was exam season, I didn't exactly have the time to come up with conspiracy theories. The day after next, I had my History exam, so I was already on pins and needles.

A day before my exam, Peekay called me again, but I didn't pick up because I was busy studying. Later, I checked my phone and made what I now consider the worst mistake of my life.

I texted him:

"Sorry, Sir, I couldn't take your call. Shall I call you?"

He said:

"YES. CALL ME."

I still remember his exact words:

"@##%% [my name], I am a little drunk today, but I really wanted to talk to you."

I WAS SHIVERING.

He was the last of the last people I would ever have expected to call me in that state. I was completely lost for words. He kept talking and told me that he wasn't happy with his job at all. He just kept yapping about things. However, he could sense that I was genuinely scared, so he repeatedly tried to reassure me by saying, "I'm like your big brother. Don't worry."( YES GEORGE ORWELL'S BIG BROTHER*)*

Then he said, "I really want to tell you the gossip from the department."

I immediately said, "No, Sir. I don't think that would be appropriate."

Maybe he felt bad coz shortly afterwards, he hung up.
