Taste of (well) water in verde valley

Is it common for the water to have a metallic/sweet taste because of the hard water in Arizona?

I know Arizona has some of the highest mineral content in the country. I have a 3 stage filtration system in the entire house and an additional drinking water system at the kitchen sink.

The water tastes quite different to me. Just want to see if this is how the water tastes here and it’s not my filtration (which I assumed would get rid of some of that taste).

Hi all, I have been in Central Florida for a year. We do have to stay in state and are looking for some land that would avoid pesticide/herbicide/mosquito fogging with a few miles.

I do know this is largely done because of the tropical environment and is very difficult to avoid but if anyone has knowledge in this topic, I would really appreciate some suggestions.

We are looking for to garden organically and just dislike spraying in general. Based on my research it seems North Central Florida is the best bet to avoid this type of stuff, being in more rural areas.

What would you suggest? For those of you who organic garden, how do you handle it?

Please, if you have something negative to say, don't comment. I already know it's difficult in this state. Just trying to make the best of the situation.

Thanks!
