How to adjust display board timing?

I have two display controllers set to write on line 1 of my display board. I would like to make it so that it toggles between each value with equal timing dedicated to displaying each value. So far, the only method I can find to do so requires that I place the display controllers exactly half-offset from one another in their refresh timing. As in, the refresh time for controller X is 50% of the way to refreshing when I place controller Y. That method would be a massive pain in the nuts to do, and I'm not interested in exploring that route if I don't have to. Has anyone found a way to accomplish this?

Any help is appreciated!

How to set alarm on space platform to go off when requests are fulfilled

BACKGROUND:

I have a pair of "personal ships" that i keep sat aside for special errands and for shuttling myself between planets. Often I will set a request on one of these ships with the intent of sending it to another planet once fulfilled, but I must do so manually. I am also a bit forgetful and it is not uncommon for me to set requests, and then forget to send the rocket over and drop the items on a different planet.

CHALLENGE:

I would like to set a loud speaker to give me an alarm notification when my ship has fulfilled ANY request, not item specific requests. Is there a clever way to read this indirectly? Or am I missing an obvious circuit condition?

Its just a game guys

It's my turn for the obligatory, weekly complaint about playing Commander.

We play video games to have fun, don't we? Like sports or any other competitive environment, we can get excited and get invested in winning and being the best, sure. But is it not ultimately our goal to simply have a good time and enjoy the experience? Why are we taking this videogame so seriously? We arent actually fighting in ww2, there arent actually bombs being dropped on our heads, and that guy you saw get hit by artillery that broke like a lego figure isn't actually dead.

For the love of god, can we as a community take one second and breathe?

When a commander places a garry in an unoptimal spot, we dont need to yell at them and demand they move it four feet over to accomodate your ideal garry placement as a tank commander.

When the commander makes a silly mistake, or simply messes somwthing up, we dont need to chastise them and tell them to be better.

Perhaps, we could instead be constructive and recognize that the people who play commander, are doing so because they think its fun. And when we yell at them and act like petulant babies about every tiny misstep, it takes the fun out of it.

In "competitive" or "veteran" servers, I can understand a bit more pickyness, but to outright bully people out of the commander role, especially when you have no desire to take it yourself, is childish behavior and has no place in this community.

In "new player" or "casual" servers, there is absolutely no fucking place for toxic behavior towards other players over their performance. If someone else is being a dick, or griefing, be mean, I dont care. But maybe if you are a lvl 500 and theres a lower level commander, you could help teach them and provide suggestions. Demanding they do as you tell them, and calling them stupid for not putting a garry in your min-maxxed position with 5% more cover and 2% more concealment is a bit insane.

This behavior is the reason most games dont get a commander for the first 10+ minutes. Its why half the squad leads dont use command chat.

Being an asshole steers people away from a game we all like and all have fun playing. So maybe instead of pushing people away from it, we help to show them the ropes and help them have fun too.

And for the vast majority of this player base that arent dickheads, call it out when you see it. Discourage the toxicity, encourage newbies, and help teach them the game.

Also El Alemein sucks, please stop voting for it.

Edit: This isnt a post solely about MY experience as a commander, but also about interactions ive seen with other commanders lately. Additionally, this isnt a post about commanders themselves, but rather about our collective responses to commanders who are still learning. Rather than being a douchebag to players who are new to a role, we can work with them and help them learn too. No man is an island and none of us have our knowledge only through our own means, we have worked with and learned from many other players throughout our HLL careers and to pretend otherwise is insane. Dont pull up the ladder behind you, but rather lets help this community grow. I enjoy playing this game a lot, and if we bully everyone out of playing it, I wont get to play it anymore.
