I just finished reading Matthew Stover’s Revenge of the Sith after binging Sun Eater and the prose is so great I can’t get enough of it. First or third person, I’d love to find more great sci-fi written is that philosophical way.
As I sit here in bed listening to the start of the series 5 soundtrack I’m struck by how much I connect with it. Nostalgia for the show definitely ties into it but It’s been years since I’ve come across a soundtrack that I’ve clicked with, maybe even as far back as Witcher S1. Big ups to Murray Gold as always.
Anyone else like this series’ particularly/any other series scores that people feel strongly on?
Looking to acquire one or two microcassttes for an old RadioShack recorder (The Micro-26 voice actuated model) before I hit Washington next week. I’ll only be in the Portland area for a few days beforehand and I’m not sure if I can ship any in time before I leave. I ordered some online which is the only place I can find them but they didn’t arrive in time for my flight. If it’s looking like shipping won’t work for me is there a place I can go in person between Portland and Seattle to grab some?
Thx!
