Hello! I have ZERO experience with handling and preserving bugs. Please help me with what to do with these beautiful wings. I think they are from the Cecropia moth, but I’m not positive. Found in western Montana.
Also - anyone have a guess as to how the wings are still in tact like this? What could have happened to this guy?
Okay so this may be super niche but I need help.
During COVID I heard from a friend about a couple who were starting a bagel business to support themselves during the pandemic because they were both stage actors and lost their jobs. They delivered the bagels to your house, and they were the most delicious bagels I have ever had. My understanding was they closed up their bagel shop when they could return to acting, though.
Now the other day I’m at the market and see this Square Peg Bagel Co. I cannot remember the name of the bagel company I ordered from in 2020, so I just checked the SquarePeg instagram and they ALSO started in March 2020, but they don’t seem to have any connection to theater acting, so I don’t think it’s the same people.
So, am I losing my mind or did we really have two small local bagel delivery services start during COVID at the same time? Anyone know the bagel people in talking about??
I have a student (3rd grade) who is genuinely funny. He tells great jokes at appropriate times - not it a disrupting class-clown kind of way.
What description would you give for that class award? “Class Comedian” “Hilarious Friend” “Funny Friend” are all ones I’ve tried but none of them feel right. Any ideas?
I saw a TikTok a while ago that said during The Great Divide, we should have a callback where the audience says “Who’s Rich?!” After he says “I hope you marry rich.”

Hello! My husband was visiting someone a couple blocks from Free Cycles and we think we may have had this small tote taken from the back of his truck. It does not contain anything with monetary value but it had old family reels for a client he was doing work for (he transfers old media to digital). I’m assuming someone grabbed it and once they saw what was inside they ditched it.
If anyone in that neighborhood sees the tote or reels dumped in an alley or something, please let me know! Thanks
Hey! I propagated this Monstera about a year and a half ago. It’s been happy and thriving in its pot for the last 9 months or so. It has put off several new leaves since then. However, I noticed this new leaf coming with these black spots all over it.
My best guess is that it is sun damage but I’m not sure. I am in western Montana and we are just entering our sunny season. It’s been cloudy and overcast all winter. This last week has been the first full week of sun in a long time.
I water every 7-14 days depending on soil moisture. I stick my finger in the first 2-3 inches of soil. If it’s dry, I water it.
