Don't think Im going to make in college, need desperate help:

Hello,

I'm a 18 year old male in his first semester of college and I'm struggling immensely to stay on top of coursework.

Firstly, whenever in a college lecture I am unable to pay attention and can not focus at all. I try focusing but whenever the teacher brings up a diffcult topic my mind just zones out. I keep zoning out in class, this was a problem during high school too.

Whenever I try studying, I've noticed that my procastination has gotten a thousand times worse. I feel a wave of anxiety + dread and it leaves me paralyzed. I rush to my phone and doomscroll. I never really studied in school ethier BUT I usually was able to cram the night before and do well. Its imposible for me to study now whats so ever. I've noticed that I've developed a severe phone addiction and its ruining me.

What can I do to be more productive in school, I dont want to fail but I've failed my first midterm and I'm willing to do anything to pass and suceed.

H Pylori is gone, it gets better (I think?)

Hello, a few days ago I made a post where I talked about my increasing struggles after dealing with my h pylori. I wanted to stay that as of august 28th, H pylori is finally out of my body. Gone are the days of panic attacks.

Today I'm left with mild to moderate anixety, I can function but it makes life really miserable. I notice moments of clarity and normalness. I also recognize my previous anxiety like before a test( (Heart pumping and a lil shaking) but it doesnt bother me whatsoever, but the anxiety I got from H Pylori makes me want to cry and stop functioning. I havent done that yet but I'm afraid it might happen. Sorry if I'm relying on reddit to much, my doctors are complete dogshit. I sat with my family doc and explain my feelings of anxiety (espically around eating), body aches, and general feeling of malaise. She brushed it off and in less than 10 minutes prescirbed me 25mg of zoloft. I'm tempted to take it but Ive heard the risks and its terrifiying. I don't know I dont really trust her but I'm always terrified and I just want to go back to normal. Does anyone have experience, should I just continue moving forward without medicine. I've my anxiety decreased but its still bothering me significantly.

My nervous system is wrecked

Hello,

It’s been 5 weeks since I finished antibiotics. Since then I’ve noticed I can eat foods better, but my nervous system has been cooked. My normal overthinking has become my worst nightmare and I’m always stressed out, right when I wake up. It’s uncontrollable. I feel like I’m at my wits end and what’s making this horrible is that I can’t point out what’s stressing me out. I’m feeling no pain but whenever I notice my body I become stressed and sad. Help!

What to do!

Hello,

It’s been 4 weeks since I finished antibiotics. Currently I have moderate fatigue which makes leaving the house difficult. I also have been dealing with bloating through out the entire day. I have a lump in my throat, it isn’t notice but sometimes I fixate on it. I’m very anxious, mostly just racing thoughts, and sudden feeling of being uncomfortable.

I just wanna know how to deal with fatigue, anxiety, and bloating. I get anxious whenever I eat food and it just becomes tiring. Plus my stomach is always rumbling and my poop changes from type 4 to type 6-7 in a day!

Constantly worried about getting fibromyalgia

I’m recovering from h pylori and I’ve deathly afraid of getting fibromyalgia. I’ve been also afraid of getting other disorders and health problems after dealing with h pylori but this tops it. I’ve been stressed out for two days now, I have mild fatigue and Brian fog, and I read about the constant pain symptom of fibromyalgia. Now I have going and coming pain across the entire body, all very mild except for my lower back which is a bit sore. I have a vitamin D defiency. But I’m so afraid of catching this thing. I’m a 17 year old male, so how do I convince myself I don’t have it. Doctor appointments are so far away in this country so I’ll be dealing with for a while. Doesn’t help that I’m going to uni in September 💔

A week after treatment, looking for comfort

Hello,

I’m almost nearing two weeks from the day I ended probiotics treatment for h Pylor, yay!!

I just wanted to update yall on some symptoms I’m facing and if they’re normal and how can I deal with them.
The first one is the brain fog, it has gotten better but it’s still there and it’s kind of freaking me out since I’m starting college in the fall.
The second one is the mild anxiety I’m faced with, it’s not bad and goes away when I forgot, but when I’m worried it kind of becomes to much and I need a minute to collect myself and calm my self down. I also become very scared of my health and events that are gonna take place in the future
My body is also very sore and I have a lot of muscle aches
My bloating and nausea after every meal has become mild.

Is there anyway I can recover quicker and what would you guys recommend for recovery.

Day 6 treatment, I’m looking for some comfort

Hello,

I’m in day 6 of my 14 day treatment process for h pylori.
I’m just wanted to share some side effects I’ve recieved from the medicine I’ve been taking. I’ll list the name of medicines out right now.

San-Clarithromycin 500mg
Teva-amoxicillin 500 mg
Teva-pantoprazole T 40 mg
Metronidazole 250 mg

I’ve been having constant mild headaches + mild migraines as well.
I’ve been having nausea and some stomach cramps, but it’s not to bad.

My shoulders are especially tense and that has been spreading throughout my body. My arms feel weak but haven’t gotten any weaker, I’ve tested them out.I’ve been also noticing tingling across the entire body.
I’ve been very anxious and have noticed my mental health has dropped to the floor. Been crying more often recently. My health anxiety gotten so bad. I’ve been freaking out more often and I truly feel as if I have a brain tumor or anything. What’s been making it worse is that any real meaningful testing will several months cuz of my countries shitty healthcare system.

Just wanted to know if there’s any warning signs or anything.
