Sleep apnea gone?

What happens if my rated sleep apnea goes away?
Got diagnosed 2 years ago. Got rated 1 year ago. This rating is static.

I Have VA follow up soon. Had moderate osa, I have lost some weight and stopped using my cpap in the last 6 months.
I don’t know it’s gone, but I sleep better without the cpap now.
I also bought a sleep positioning pillow and some other things to help.

They had offered the mouth guard before, which I may like now. But also kind of afraid they will want to do another sleep study and my osa ahi may be low enough for to not qualify for a rating?

Not sure what to do.

Fmla lwop?

Can anyone speak from experience.
I have a planned surgery early next year. It will cause me to be out at least 6 weeks.
I do not have 6 weeks sick leave. And would not have that much in vacation even. Not do not want to spend my vacation hours. I do have supplemental short term disability insurance I purchased because I knew this may be needed one day.
So,
Am I allowed to take my sick leave and lwop and not my vacation hours? If I have fmla paperwork?

Can I take some sick leave each biweekly to spread it out? I do not have medical, only dental and eye insurance. So it isn’t a lot needed each paycheck.

Timeliness question

Can someone either remind me or teach me, other than getting the timeliness count is there any reason to not jump to other cases on my docket if I want to get it done?
Say I have an easy allowance. But haven’t finished both clocked cases because one is waiting on a call back.
Am I somehow screwing myself if I do other non finals or office actions on them?
Amended tab is all caught up.
I can just prepare a few and turn them at the end of the biweek. But as a junior, I hate to load all the stuff to a day or 2 for my SPE.

What about RCEs out of order of the clock?

Before we had hours we needed to meet for DM.
But if we have hit the action hours for timeliness does it matter now?

What do you clean in a suburban house?

What is your common list in a 2500sf house.
I am a bit confused.
I see a lot of posts saying just about everything except floors and surfaces and maybe bathrooms is an add on. So what is actually normal for a clean?

Think older millennial kind of a minimalist. 2 adults, 1 teen, and 2 dogs.

We get a cleaner once a month, but are only a few months into this and I don’t know what I don’t know.
Please educate me.

Days back in timeliness?

So did we end up with 4 days back in timeliness. Was there ever any other emails regarding this? How do we know what is the correct amount and it was adjusted properly?
I am so confused in this.
What date is the new from this biweek even due now? All the counting columns we have, I wish it said date and time it goes “over”.
Not a bunch of counting columns that I need to do math to figure out. And try to remember if there is a zero day or not.

How much notice?

So, let’s say I plan on quitting. But want to leave the door open to come back if I choose to. I have 10 years of federal service, including my 7ish years as an examiner.

How much notice should I give to my SPE, who I like a lot to keep best outcome with.

New offer may be considerably higher pay. But, in office. Definitely thinking about taking it if they give the high end of the pay scale.

No moving required.

RSVP %?

Hi all, what amount of people did you invite and how many actually showed up?
Did they mostly rsvp appropriately?

Wondering. I will have about 100 in the guest list.
But just in the beginning of planning. So trying to figure out a budget based on people.

Why do people feel they have the right to block traffic because they messed up?

Like when they missed a turn, so they stop in the middle of the road to try to cross 3 lanes of traffic or need to mess with their directions and can’t do it while driving, or the list can go on.
Why not just accept a missed turn. Go down the road or pull over at the next safe place and deal with the issue.
Who are these people?

Timeliness denominator?

Now that we are almost 4 full bi-weeks in. What do you think your denominator will be at the end of the quarter?
I am guessing about 20-22 for mine. But what is average I wonder? I don’t have a good overall understanding of all the BD/AU specifics.
I am very pigeonholed in my little area.

Short term disability?

Anyone who used std, what company do you use? And what were the requirements to get your procedures approved?
Like did it have to be deemed medically necessary? Did insurance HAVE to cover it? Or did it not get approved as a std even though insurance did cover it?

Becoming wealthy, Getting used to it?

So those who become wealthy, on their own, or later in life, after like age 40 or so, how do you get used to it?

Life, income, and lots of stuff has changed for me and it’s a lot of work just to get used to it and not over pay on things and just want to do it the easy way.

I guess with more money, comes more spending choices that have to be made, and it’s work to not pay extra all the time.

Is this normal, or am I doing it wrong?

Time for search being down?

Sooo, are they going to give us time as a lump sum, or do we all need to request it individually? This is kind of stupid. I mean search was down for what like 12+hours?

I was literally about an hour into my newest application and trying to search stuff.

So I pivoted to, other stuff for a while, as required to do so.
But I finally ran out of stuff to do. Can’t afford to flex, have already burnt vacation and sick leave to deal with the change at rapid fire.

Sure I can request the time. But pretty sure we should all get a blanket amount of time and then maybe request more if it’s not enough. This is disgusting, but typical for these soul sucking directors and management staff.

And yes. I get to work on a Saturday, my stolen, unpaid, forced overtime to make my numbers. So here is am stewing and mad yet again.

I keep seeing news and social media posts about “ozempic face”.

I am 8.5 months post op. And of course my face has gotten a lot thinner. I am almost at a normal bmi now.

I am self conscious of judgment about having ozempic face. Also, I didn’t tell anyone about my surgery other than my husband. So is this my punishment now? To just live in this judgment feeling? It makes me depressed, and hard to enjoy my success on the weight loss.
