‘Feast of Cats’ - a five level, undead infested, survival-horror dungeon, set in Dolmenwood
I’m a month or so away from releasing my first full length adventure module - Feast of Cats.
It’s a Dolmenwood module but could easily port to any other setting with a few tweaks.
“It’s time for the annual spring ball at Fort Vulgar.
A long held tradition, the ball is famed throughout the duchy for it’s licentiousness and draws a
mixed crowd of aristocrats and wealthy merchants. Attendees are locked in the fort till dawn,
with one rule - they must dance and party all night.
The twist: zombies.”
I’ve been making dungeons for myself and my players for years so I set out with a goal early this year: to get one out into the world.
Feast of Cats is a 5 level dungeon, it has 20 named NPCs, a random aristocrat/servant generator and about 15 original monsters. It’s zombie-themed, so we’ll trod territory, but I think it’s a fun twist on the trope. I did the art and maps myself. It’s been a lot of fun to write and to run and I’ve put a lot of work into it.
I’m sharing some out of context rooms and maps here just to build a little bit of hype for the adventure before I release it. It’s being independently playtested and then I’ll be able to do a final proof, so should be up on DTRPG in late September all going well!
