Going to start a hardcore world, any tips?

So ive beaten the game twice. Once a couple years ago and just recently. But I want to try hardcore now.

Im thinking a ranged physical build with minions, high armor equipment, absolutely no melee (seems inferior even in a regular world, let alone hardcore). Planning on farming a lot like my other playthroughs and having good food and healing potions on me. I plan to take it slow, build walls where necessary and am not going to try to push early into new biomes when I stumble upon them.

Anyone got any tips? Particularly survivable builds? Ideas on things to do early? Any tough lessons learned from experienced hardcore players?

I imagine a lot of deaths are just the random moments when you're in a new biome early and the power curve jumps before you can get some of the new resources in it. Or turning a corner in the sea into one of those crab things and it shoots bubbles point blank and you can't run cause you're slowed on slime.

Random trash mobs worry me more than bosses. Easy to get overgeared before a boss, but harder to get overgeared heading into the next biome if you're not farming bosses for specific items (which doesn't sound like a smart idea in hardcore).

What is up with Coldcard/Coinkite's messaging on social media?

If you look on Twitter, you'll see that messaging from this company is now about pointing out rumors of hacks or vulnerabilities elsewhere in the crypto world. They're just stuffing their timelines with reposts of things completely unrelated to them.

This an attempt by u/HodlDee and others to try to say, 'Look! Everyone is screwing up, its not just us!'

Owner of Coinkite, Rodolfo Novak (@nvk on Twitter), is busy retweeting memes/jokes about the hack of his product which destroyed lives. He thinks this is funny, not serious.

Hodl Dee, Novak, Peter Grey and others at Coinkite have destroyed lives. They've probably even gotten people killed, literally, I imagine there has been or will be in the future at least one suicide that comes from all this. Yet they refuse to take any blame and even make jokes about what has happened.

Either they are unsympathetic to the point of being psychopathic, or this was an inside job.

We did it boys, the XFL won!

Mike Repole bought back the Gamblers just so that there'd be another USFL team to axe after the season.
