i’ve been practicing for like 4-5 months on and off and i think i can do solid lows-mids working on high but the one big problem i’m facing to further improvement is that i don’t have lasting screams i max out about 3 seconds and my air is dumped, i need help and some training plan/tips on how to increase my endurance as well as compression i have no clue how to compress properly what are things i can do to gain control over my compression?
sorry if i sound shitty throat was irritated after practicing for an hour so it won’t sound the best but i’m just tryna learn how to obtain longer screams and perfect compression lmk y’all advice and let me know how the screams sound
i’m an unemployed couch potato highschooler and wish i could just work on vocals for hours upon hours and i know when i’m supposed to give it a rest but i just have so much time on my hand i get annoyed once i realize i gotta put muself on cooldown before i fuck my throat up
i’ve been working on my false chords and i know how to properly activate them for a scream but i’ve been wondering if it’s worth learning the throat singing techniques, i usually here that it’s good for people beginning to scream but i never got into that and was able to achieve the sound on my own without learning them. Can learning throat singing now help refine my technique? or is just improving from what i know now better off to go on instead of going backwards to the throat singing learning
i havnt really dabbled on learning to compress and get those long lasting screams yet because i wanna get the base relaxed sound but i want to hear about some of your guys’s training to help compress and get those long lasting screams, what’s the best way to control air flow and conserve the most air to keep the scream going? all of that type of stuff and stuff such as what exercises you guys use to obtain the air control and compression
does anyone have an idea on how he does his lows and highs? still new to screaming but i want to head towards his sound direction he. how does he do his highs they’re just amazing. tongue placement mouth shape compression? anything
it’s been a month and a half of getting the hang of fc screams, is this healthy? throat doesn’t feel horrible but i properly do need to refine my technique with more training but other than that is this good? do i need to remove more true voice? is the distortion good? i’m working on learning how to compress perfectly and properly, last time i tried i fucked up my throat adding compression and it took 4 weeks to heal
i kinda forgot how to scream after taking 4 weeks off from an injury ao i’m slowly learning again but what i need most help with is how to remove true voice to my screams? other than that i’m doing fine idk why it’s hard for me to remove voice to properly scream any training or practices to become strong at it? other than “just pretend you’re fogging up a mirror”
