Painted my first dreadnaut.

Not anywhere near my first model. And the only other things I ever painted that were near this size were a single Armiger, and a castigator.

I just noticed, you can have a Ministorum Priest as an ally unit.

And from what I can see, it is 10 points less to ally them in, the differences being these.

Sororitas Priest - gets Acts of Faith, the attached unit gets +1 wound for melee, can attach to dominion and novitiates gaining scouts or infiltrate respectively, or Arco-flags and Sanctifiers.

Ally Priest - no Acts of Faith. Attached unit gets sustained hits for melee. And can only attach to BSS and Sanctifiers (due to their ability).

I usually run the priest on sanctifiers anyway, but I think I'm gonna try them allied in for sustained rather than +1 wound. I don't think I've ever used a Miracle die on just a priest.

Unless there's a rule I'm missing where since the whole unit doesn't have Acts of Faith, I couldn't use MD on the sanctifiers.

I am just starting to get into space marines. I mainly play Sororitas. And there is a dedicated podcast, The Sister Act. Where they are pretty focused on the actual game and competitive side of things. When I try to look up dark angels or space marine podcast, it's pretty much only lore stuff. Which I love, but sometimes I wanna get my spike on. I'd also be down for just a space marine competitive podcast in general.

Like how is it that we are known for the holy Trinity of bolter, melta, and flamer. And the best we get is a 5squad of rets, or sanctifiers, which aren't even really sisters, and most of those are hand flamers.

Id love if I'm wrong and there's a better option.
