I was about to download D2 resurrected and noticed project d2. I'll ask some basic and probably obvious questions...

It's an mmo?

Are the servers active?

Do you need other players to make the full experience or can I just play this in place of singleplayer?

Pros cons? I used to play D2 years ago and wanted to go back to it. I like the look of the remaster or whatever but am open to this if it's an equivalent or better experience. Lost my d2 disc years ago so would need to rebuy.

Edit: Thank you very much for the answers! I feel enlightened. I've decided to play resurrection once through to remember the extent of the base game before going to pd2. I want to have a better understanding of the changes made.

Every other post is about cat behavior.... I want to hear more about how you trained your cat to flush the toilet instead.

How many of you out there are traveling with your companion and fuzzy companions? Looked at all of your standard 35-38ft sailboats... I'm intimated on where to put the litterbox and how to keep them from tracking litter around. I can't imagine the amount of hair floating around inside. My big guy likes to do his business and do a running victory lap after his poo. It makes a mess of my house. 🫨

How have you made this work? Any gadgets or must haves that made it easier? How do you keep the litter dry? What kind of litter box? What kind of boat?

Just probing others to see if this insanity would actually work. My wild childs are still full of energy and learning their harness. Poor things have a lot of energy for a boat. They will need to be walked like dogs. I got them to not deal with dogs!! Lol
