Eucerin Radiant Tone dual serum w Thiamidol - day 4 of using 2x per day, allergic reaction/dermatitis?? Or damaged skin barrier?

Sigh. Here I was thinking maybe this $40 something serum would be my melasma fix, but now this is happening 😭

Have never experienced burning/tingling when applying until this morning when I first noticed this rash. No issues what so ever up until last night this spot around my mouth felt itchy, and this morning it appears to be a rash of sorts? I have another blotch like this under my eye, only on this side of my face.

My skin is a little on the sensitive side, and I’d consider my skin type as dry. I apply tret to my forehead and have had no issues there (I have however put the tret on pause and have not applied within the last week- I didn’t want to be using any actives while introducing a new product).

My skin barrier before starting the serum was in good order and moisturized, but part of me is wondering if maybe the alcohol in the product is just too much for my skin and drying the hell out of my face and that’s what this is? Should I try applying a light moisturizer before the Eucerin to see if this helps? Orrrrr could it be an allergic reaction and this is some form of dermatitis and continuing to use will make it 10x worse? 😅

If anyone else had a similar experience with the Eucerin serum not agreeing with their skin for any reason and have another alternative product they can recommend that did, PLEASE share!

Snug- 16g, Invictus, but is it threaded or threadless?

Gah, one of the ends of my new snug fell out while cleaning and went down the drain! Looking for a quick Amazon replacement so it doesn’t fall out before I can get to a piercer!

For extra context, I also received this piercing out of state which is why I’m in a bit of a dilemma and needing a quick fix before my long term fix. Please share any links to a new bezeled diamond end that might be compatible with this barbell if anyone knows of any!

32yo female, religiously applying SPF 50 daily since March and suddenly getting melasma spots for the first time ever.. but why?! 😩

*this warm bathroom lighting doesn’t do it enough justice, it is definitely more prominent in natural/daytime lighting

I wasn’t the best with sunscreening my face in my 20s, but I decided this year it was time to take it seriously. I luckily never had melasma/sun damage due to my ignorance, but I figured now is when I could get ahead of preventing it since my skin is truly aging now that I’m in my 30s.

I started applying LRP tinted mineral spf 50 every morning ~4mo ago - and it seems with the start of summer this year ~2mo ago, I immediately got the darkening between my brows (this is where it’s the worst/most prominent). I then noticed both sides of my upper lip, and just today I now see it starting on my cheek bones and brow bones! Despite my newly incorporated daily spf 50 and all 😭 I also use vanicream vit C serum at night and niaminacide serum in AM, to no relief.

I’m just so confused what could be suddenly causing this! I’ve read it can be hormonal, but I did not experience it with my 2 pregnancies, and I’ve been taking the same hormonal birth control pill for almost 5 years now with no issue, so I don’t suspect it could be that?

Desperate to figure out what could be causing it so I can properly treat it to not only brighten it up, but prevent any more spots from forming!
