Welcome the shortest (ig?) rider of here!

At 5’2”, I feel like Sid riding on top of Dobson in Ice Age! Still getting used to handling the bike on my tippy toes but I am actively reminding myself to put only one leg down and now it’s become so much better! 🙂‍↔️

I am newbie to riding but this bike makes me feel so comfortable! I can’t feel the weight of the bike at all when it’s moving. U-turns and tight turns are what scare me and driving the bike up on slopes to park at places and to get the bike down is still a nightmare. I actively look for places where I don’t have to park at awkward places because it’s embarrassing when I’ve to get it out later!

I insist the pillions to inform me beforehand when they’re about to sit or disembark from the bike because I need to be aware of it to handle them considering my height. Other than that, absolutely loving the bike. Also experiencing rains once a while here, so I avoid riding in rains since people here mentioned the tyre grip isn’t so good on wet roads. It’ll now go for its first servicing in couple weeks! Looking forward for the bike to be much smoother and hopefully better mileage too.

To those people who are short and are looking for which bike to go for, I’d recommend giving this bike a shot because I feel the weight distribution is such that it can be handled with a bit of practice and care. Unfortunately, can’t do anything about the height but w careful driving and of course planning, it is doable! 🙃

Any tips/ suggestions/ advice or recommendations that you may have for me, please feel free to share! 🌻

Need suggestions for places to break in the new engine.

Hello People of Hyderabad

I got a new bike and I need to break in the engine and get it ready for its first service. Need roughly 700 kms on the Odo in the next one month or so.

Looking for suggestions of places I can go to!
Not looking for tough trails as I’m new to the bike and I’ve been told I need to be gentle in the initial months.

Don’t tell me ORR because bikes aren’t allowed on the ORR!

Spotted this plane flying over Tank Bund, it isn’t a commercial aircraft

Saw this plane flying over Hussain Sagar today morning. This doesn’t look like a commercial aircraft and I spotted this for the first time here. Was flying quite close to the ground too.

Any idea what could it be?
Is something happening in Hyderabad?

Ordered from Amazon, what next?!

Hello people of X440 Sub!

Idk much about bikes but this is a bike which I was most comfortable with during test drive and I booked it off Amazon.

Although Amazon has an image of pointers explaining steps to book a bike here but I’d like to know if you guys have any pointers for me as to how does this work?

How’s a local dealer assigned and when can I expect a call from dealer for further process?

Also looking forward to get my own insurance as the dealer gives TATA AIG is what they told me during test drive and I’ve not had a very good experience with it earlier. That’s not a problem. Right?
And will have to get RSA from dealer itself.

Any other suggestions/ advice/ recommendations that you may have for a new rider and bike, they’re welcome!

Thank You!

Passenger Ship Familiarization includes Crowd and Crisis Management too?

I’ve been looking to do Passenger Ship Familiarization along with Crowd and Crisis Management Course so I can be ready in case any opportunity presents itself to shift to cruises.

But I’m stuck as in all institutes, I’ve been able to see PSF being offered for a duration of 3 days but none of them have Crowd/ Crisis Management course. Have they now been clubbed together as one or is it difficult to find the CCM course?

Any information that you might’ve could help me!
Suggestions/ recommendations/ advice - all are welcome.

Thanks in advance! 🫡
