SKL bumili ako ng Nivea bc of my Lola
Since i was a kid, tuwing iiwan kami sa grandparents namin para magbakasyon palagi ko nakikita yung Nivea na cream na nasa blue na tin can nasa vanity ng Lola ko. And I always wonder kung bakit meron ganun si Lola, akala ko that time, i was around 6 years old, na lotion yun, so i will always lather myself with that shoulders to toes, then papagalitan kami kasi sayang daw, dapat sa face lang. Eh that time sabi ni Mama samin magkakapatid na we are too young to be putting things on our skin lalo na face aside from lotion.
Fast forward, working na ako and Lola is in her farm house na (2022), not ancestral bc walang magbabantay na malapit, and when we visited her, i would ask her what does she want aside from money hahahaha and she would say "Nivea lang, dawa sadit basta igwa" ~ Nivea lang, kahit maliit basta meron. And that made me emotional kasi since i was kid, i have seen her use this, and not knowing na hindi na pala sya nakakagamit nun kasi wala na syang stock kasi she cannot go out by herself and buy things that she wants. So, immediately i bought her 2 Nivea.
Now, it has been a year since my Lola passed away. And kanina habang nasa mercury drugstore ako, I saw a nivea in the same blue tin can (never change please) and bought one even though i dont use it. It reminds me of her.
