Windows Defender Org ID is completely different on our devices from what we're seeing in security.microsoft.com

I'm not really sure which subreddit to post this so hopefully this covers it...

We're trying to configure Microsoft Defender for our Intune devices, and the Org ID viewable on security.microsoft.com's Settings > Microsoft Defender XDR does not match the Org ID found when running Get-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Advanced Threat Protection\Status". This has happened to two of our autopilot laptops, and they both end up with the same Org ID. It just doesn't match the OrgID we want it to, and therefore doesn't get the policies we're trying to configure as Intune can't determine the "Risk factor" of the device.

Can someone help me determine where these laptops are getting this other OrgID from so that we can put a stop to it?

  • We don't have any scripts configured on Intune, just two that were included from Microsoft; "Restart stopped Office C2R srv" (disabled) and "Update stale Group Policies" (enabled).

  • We tried changing the OrgID manually by turning off the connector from Intune to Defender, so that the devices didn't get enrolled into Defender automatically. Then downloaded and ran an offboarding script, re-enabled the connector, and then Intune detected a device not enrolled with Defender and enrolled it appropriately with the correct OrgID. But then after one restart, the OrgID changed back to the same unrecognised one.

Sega Rally (Revo) - Tips?

So I decided to finally start this recently and am determined to figure out Sega Rally and its controls.

I came off it before because I couldn't figure out hairpin turns. I'm driving manual transmission. I wondered, if anyone here still remembers how to play it properly, if anyone could give any tips on the controls, particularly surrounding hairpin turns and S turns.

On a Windows device, if I'm trying to get the value that Entra is going to read from the firmware, how do I see the exact value?

I tried entering the value that was output from Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_BaseBoard | Select-Object Product and this didn't work. Also tried what Entra is reporting in the "Model" column on another enrolled device, also didn't work (failing in the "Validate Rules" screen)

Edit: Forgot to say that I got the Xbox ROG Ally X lol

Got sick of Lenovo's nonsense and simply not fixing any of the (software based) issues I had with the device - the bigger screen just wasn't worth it - so I took the plunge on a second hand model for £650 not just for the extra RAM/CPU, but for Asus' actual willingness to make their device good.

Few questions I have:

  • How do I permanently disable the Analogue stick lights? They seem to switch back on after a shutdown.

  • How do I make sure that VRR and/or FSR is enabled? I don't see anything in Armoury Crate that's obvious and I'm not super familiar with a lot of the terminology.

  • Any recommendations for hard shell cases and screen protectors? The Legion Go 1 came with a hard shell carry case and I kinda want that along with a screen protector before I get a scratch on it.

Any other recommendations on what I should do with the device (is adjusting VRAM a thing on this?)? I'm primarily an Xbox gamer who bought into these handhelds to make full use of Xbox PlayAnywhere, will setup Retroarch on a separate ess dee card, with no desire to install other launchers. I see that you can now add custom games and apps to the Xbox launcher, and I don't really care about customising UI's and stuff like that, just want a device that plays games in as much of a stable framerate as possible.

> When the recipient is not a Gmail user, Gmail sends them an invitation to view the E2EE email in a restricted version of Gmail. The recipient can then use a guest Google Workspace account to securely view and reply to the email.

If I'm understanding this correctly, if (and when) everyone starts doing this, then users will "get used to" having to click an email link to view a message.

Isn't this going to make detecting phishing emails and avoiding malicious links even harder? Or am I misunderstanding something here?
